That effect has been around for a long time and there are many tutorials online for it. Just search in google for "light over animation effect" and some tuts should come up :)

If the secrets are shared, then yet another "idea" will be stolen and then those graphics will become just as much of value as the glitters. IMO.

(Obviously its not a secret, but hopefully you get what I mean)

and Angela, people learn by asking, isn't that the purpose of tutorials..
otherwise no would know how to make glitters... I prefer to learn it rather than spending endless amounts of money buying them like some people do :)

LOL... the method is hardly anyone here's "idea" or a secret, that effect has been around for a long time and there are many tutorials around on them. Yes it was somebodys idea to make a pack of them to sell here.. but the actual effect itself was not an original idea, it has been around.

As for tutorials- I didnt think about the photoshop/psp diffrence... Sorry retro- I use photoshop and that is how I make those.. but im sure if you could tweek it for psp. Or im sure there is a tutorial out there for it.

Like if someone invented reading & writing and they decided to keep it a "secret" no one would know how to read or write! Lol and everyone does web designing by learning how to code, make glitters, etc..

And it is okay, :) photoshop tutorials don't really work with psp 8 but i experminted a bit and I kind of understand how to make them now but I need a bit more practice lol :)

I have paint shop pro 8 and animation shop 3, so preferably one of those ^^

I am giving the person who shows me a fully understandable video tutorial on how to do this in animation shop, 10 premade glitters/graphics

But I need to be able to understand it fully... if you make a written one with screenshots plz, I can give you 6 glitters/graphics+ green rep

This animation has three layers.....

All you gotta do is, in the first layer color the first heart lighter than the rest, then in the second one color the second heart lighter than the rest, and then the third one color the third heart lighter than the rest....that's all.

You can duplicate each layer (in different frames obviously) and set it to "screen" and play with the opacity to make it lighter. Taghyra above me explained it really well!

Yeah- there isn't anything hard about that effect...

This is the way I would make that graphic:
-Dupe the graphic 3x in PSP.
-Use the "Retouch" tool and put it on "Lighten RBG" mode

-Lighten over the first heart in one frame
-Lighten over the second heart in another frame
-Lighten over the third heart in the last frame
-Paste the frame together in Animation Shop
And that should do it. Play around with the frame settings to increase/decrease the speed.
Hope this is some help and gives you the results you were looking for.

i agree, i don't know why people are so selfish and wont share their knowledge with others.
