Glitter Backgrounds

I was fooling around in paintshop pro and starting thinking... alot of designers use glitterfills as the background of the glitter as well, right? Well, why not make backgrounds specificly for glitters?

So while testing, I came up with 4 different backgrounds to test.

Please note, the 'examples' above, are very poor quality glitters - I made them in 30 seconds. Just to show an example of what the backgrounds would look like in action.

Do you think it'd be worth making more? I'm going to make it so that you have to purcahse a license to be able to use them for commercial use (license price is undecided, but im sure it wont be much), or if your just using them for your site/freebies, etc you have to credit... because these actually take me along time (even though i know they dont look it) and this was my original idea - i've NEVER seen these before.

I just use regular brushes as the BGs in them :l Alot of people do. We've all kinda got our own techniques =p Keep yours to yourself so you keep some of your one of a kindness I say ;p

I think that's a good idea, I use backgrounds for my fills alot. I think it would be worth making more :biggrin:

I uses bg for my glitters too. I made 100+ bgs when I had my first site.

yeah, it's kind of hard to see - but there are little pink flowers. :) That one & the black/purple one is my fav. :)

Oooh cool idea :) I just use gradients & brushes really, but I might experiment now :P

Oh yeah if you make them I would recommand to save it as a .bmp so you can put it in your psp pattern folder.

I would definently make sure that there are alot of backgrounds, before making this an option as it wouldn't be fair to even pay $1 if there is very little selection, or poor backgrounds for that matter... Just trying to get an idea of what to do before spending all th time doing it. :) thanks for your inputs thus far.
