is it really wise to have mp3 downloaders pirating music from major music labels?

anyway, it's a lot easier downloading music from limewire and torrents anyway.. i don't see the big thing about the myspace mp3 downloaders.

It's not necessarily easier. The only negative is that the quality is usually terrible. Plus limewire and torrents are monitored... explain to me how the RIAA is going to catch you using MySpace to download music.

Also, not all the sites are blocked. There must be a different way some of these scripts work because a site I am on right now works perfectly.

RIAA will step in soon, if you are located in the USA and offer one of these services I would really wotch how you do business.

look at some of the previous court cases, their are fines of up to $250,000 for this sort of site, you may think its ok but its deffiantly not read the TOS in myspace.

all these sites will get DCMA's and be shut down eventually, and or be banned from their advertising affiliates.

Its one very risky business, if the artists wants you to download their music they will provide a live download link on their site if they don't want you to download it they will provide a stream only source.

You guys who run these sites really need to read up on LAW's I have been sued in the past for much minor things and had big consequences these sites are a huge liability.

I am not been a *** hole I am trying to save you all form getting into some serious trouble, if you think having you domains ids on private will be a good way to get out of trouble think again these lawyers and RIAA staff can find you with what ever security you have.

There's a reason we never jumped on the Yahoo video downloader bandwagon and then the myspace downloader bandwagon. You need to pick your services carefully and this type of site just isn't something I'd bank on.

I don't think they can easily take down your site if you are not using a name related to Myspace.
