Where do most of the myspace sites webmasters get their images/pictures/graphics from? Any suggestions.

I make my own. Most of the webmasters get theirs from their MSRS scripts or another script. Some people buy them and a few make their own.
Some people also collect them from piczos and various sites.
I suggest making your own or buying them, because it frees you from complications regarding copyright issues.

To make layouts with a specific theme like F1 yourself, you would need to have photoshop (I say photoshop, any gfx package) knowledge. Lets say you want to make a basic but pleasing on the eye layout for a specific driver/team. You don't need bucket loads of skill, just basic knowledge.
I said in another topic, the best way to make a layout is make 1 perfect layout first. Tweak it in everyway until it looks just how you want, with 2 basic colours. Now you have 1 perfect layout template, save it in notepad.
Now go to one of the F1 teams official websites, they generally have very large photos for press use (Some are locked into media sections, but others aren't, free viewing). Find the photo you think looks good and copy it into photoshop, resize it to match the background size then, in text write the name of the driver/team and add some effects that look good to the name. If you want to make it slighty more complex, find the logos of each team and cut them out, then place it by the name, add a cool effect to that too. (Add your site name, so people can't steal your efforts). There you have a background that looks cool. Now do the same witrh other photos for the contact table and extended network.
All you have to do now is go to your template in notepad, change the colours of the text/table/borders/links to match the team (takes about 30 seconds). Add your images. You're done!
Because you have spent time on that 1 perfect template that looks good, pretty much whatever you do to it will look good. You can follow that process for any layout design.
To make images, create a new canvas in photo the size you want and just paste in the images, adding text as you want.
Obviously you can make it more complicated, you could cut the images out and add numerous effects to those, but if you want to keep it simple but effective there's no need. If you make a team layout, you could have the background as the car, then over the top of that (maybe like in a computer game when you select a team), have the two drivers in their own box, simple to do, but adds more to the profile.

thanx a ton man.
i have some knowledge of photoshope and basic html coding.
and am thinking on same lines but could not have typed them in a better fashion.
i will just go and checkout some f1 sites and see if there are images that i can use.
Also you have a nice avtar there.
Schumacher in a somber mood after having lost any chances of winning his 8th world title.

No worries.
I use that pic for my MSN messenger and forum avatars, I thought it was funny when i first saw it. Don't let the grumpyness of the photo fool you though, I am a huge Michael Schumacher fan! I also used to run F1action.com, but writing news articles all day everday wasn't my cup of tea, so it's just a holding page now.
There's still some chance of an eight title... wishful thinking, but there's a chance :tooth:

Right, we are off topic.
Ok, so I have seen many sites offering cliparts and icons and all. Where do you get these? Is there any good image provider?

Once you get the traffic you will see what they want through stats and can spend your time more efficeintly going for exactly what they want ;).
