;). Edit: hmmm, just tested it and seems to work....Maybe it is right on the limit and depends is your domain is long or not lol?
That may be part of it, but I suspect there is something else going on. Generating for the word groovy yields 953 characters of code.

I get some odd behavior out of this thing when integrated into msrs as well.

breaks tabbed browsing in firefox on generate code view
generate links to file in root folder

I messed around with things for a while before giving up and just placing a copy of the code.php file in the root folder. Probably has something to do with the rootbase thing in the script...but I've got it working and don't even want to know how to fix it right! :) (OK if you are really bored you can tell me...but I will have to be really bored to implement it.)

Also when I was editing the code in Dreamweaver, it offered to rewrite the code to be compatible with newer versions of windows. I tried accepting the changes out of curiosity, but it just messed things up with some javascript.

I was getting the 450 character limit thing while running badder adder. Maybe the limit is with them and not myspace? When I hand posted a wavyscroller to a comment I first got a myspace error page. (not unusual!) then retried and got this message: The comment you submitted contains an embedded object. It must be approved by the user before it is displayed on their profile. So apparently it will work...but maybe not the best for comments.

Check you have the letter case exactly matching your configuration.

I assume the line in question would be the one containing

<form action="wavy-scroller-code.php" method="post">

I checked caps hyphens etc. over and over yesterday and again just now.

The scripts files sit in the folder like xxxx.com/wavyscroller/xxxx.php

I tried many variants of hard urls and paths in the form action. (I'm from the school of keep trying stuff till it works)

(Did I mention that I really don't want to screw around with it anymore since it works?) :balloon:

It could be also that one of the path variants worked, but I didn't realize it with the tabbed browsing messed up and a delay on the "repost content?" error on refresh.

If you want to keep the file out of the root and all contained in the same folder, you'll need to change the above to reflect where the page is.

Dunno about browser issue.

You can keep your grass. ;)

inserting wavyscroller/wavy-scroller-code.php worked. Just like I could swear I tried a dozen times last night. I'll blame it on lack of sleep, and dreading mowing the lawn in windy freezing temps...

BTW sorry to sidetrack the sales thread. It really is a cool looking sign.
