i have 20k friends over 30 accounts.
for now i am using the profiles to send traffic to my MSRS site via comments (only one thanx for add comment) and profile views only.
i need some suggestions on how to monotize them.
the accounts i am buliding are with specific age group.
each profile requesting friends in an age band of 5 years. 2 below her/his age and 2 above.
have not sent a single bulletin as yet.
i must say this is gr8 forum. i am learning a lot from here. thank you guys.

when sending bulletins from the account you have to act like you are sending it in honour of the people who creaeted your profile to be effective.
For instance use something liek this for a title, "hay guys check out where I got my layout from its hot"
Then follow on with the bulletin, dont make it look commercial make it look semi - dodgey to make the users feel like its not a advertisers on the account.

hey thanx for the tip.
i have not yet send a bulletin from my acccounts as yet.
As i dont have a single account that has over 1000 friends so am waiting for the accounts to grow to a substantial account.
Secondly, i am scared as hell about google banning my account for a new site getting traffic from bulletin.myspace.
having said i sold a bulletin on 12k friends today at DP.
so thats a good begning.
my question now is.
should i use bulletins to promote my msrs site or should i sell bulletins like crazy.
i am still working on adding friends and am adding 1k friends a day.
so my accounts are going to big in another months time.

man its not a good idea selling heaps of bulletins keep them to a low, keep the account lookin 100% real...or it will just turn to rubbish..
I try and only send 1-3 bulletins per day on my accounts network, I ahve accounts I dont even use and test alot of different things on myspace, etc ban rates and other levels.
if you advertise the **** out of account people will realise its a fake account and just spam it,
remember you just ahve to annoy 1 computer nerd on myspace till he totally floods your account with messages like "fake account" blah blah....

i understand that point of your connection.
i have not posted a single bulletin on any of my accounts as yet.
now i am building accounts and i need to know what are the ways i can montotize them.
1. selling bulletins is one. and i agree with you on not doing over 3 bulletins per day. so this is one.
Are you guys able to sell 3 bulletins evey day?
2. What about sending mass messages. do people send mass messgages to there friends everynow and then.
3. Do u guy send bulletins with affilate link? and are they perfroming any good. i see a lot of porn in bulletin space. i dont want to get into this to monotize my friend list.
some tips in this are highly appreciated.

and this is what i am seeing at DP
$4 to 15k friends
$5 for 58k friends
other low bulletin sales.
as far as selling account goes 10$ for 1K friends is not very profitable the way i am doing it today.
i think i will have to add some friends with whore trains and other spammy tech to make it profitable.
anyway i have sold one bulletin to 13k friends for 15$ so thats an ok start as yet have not started promoting my bulletin service as yet.
any suggestions where i should start.
as of today i have over 25K friends spread over 30 profiles.
i would love to sell msgs, bulletins and other services through my profile.
thanx for all the help guys.

Cost of bulletians in my opinion, depends if the users are targted. (Worth much, much more) and how many have been sent previously.

To keep your "list" more valueable, I would stay away from the trains and such. Those users are worth next to nothing when it comes to people who will stop and take notice of a bulletin/message. You will have much higher clickthrus if you stick to the friends you are getting now. Sure, getting an easy 10 friends might sound good and your "customers" might like hearing larger numbers of friends but the results won't be as good as they expect for tha amount.
Just my opinion of course ;).

Do to digital point. The rates are really crappy though. SOmehting like 3 bucks for 10,000 friends.

If you dont spam you can sell a decent amount of bulletins at ~$1 per 3.5k friends (at least thats what i experienced)

im not sure about a given rate, but first I would find out how much revenue 1 bulletin across all those accounts brings you.

i was looking at 1$ for 1k quailty friends.
well now i am thinking of using whore trains and other spammy practise to get the freinds no. high enough on a couple of accounts so that i can get good price for these quality accounts.

Problem is, if you do that they will no longer be quality accounts. I sold lots of bulletins at $4.25 for ~15k friends. Unsure if i couldve gone higher, but that seem about the right price.

no i am not going to lower the quality on these accounts
i am going to build a couple of profiles on other fast methods just to get my friends no. higher so that i can get the price i want for these accounts.
am not sure as yet.
have not started selling bulletins aggresively as yet.

ok after looking at most things being offered here and at DP i have lowered my goals and have set a price for my bulletin to 45K friends at 12$ only.
i think this is a competative price though.
cheers

The problem the price for bulletins has CRATERED in the past two months-proably because they convert poorly. 100K Bulletins used to sell for $80 now your lucky yo get $8.

I disagree, I have lots of people buying 17.5k bulletins for $4.50. Then again, I don't spam mine so they actually send decent traffic.

Even if you send out 20 of these a week your only making $90 which kinda sucks
And then you need to take into account how much time you spent trying to get those 17K friends.

Takes me about 2 minutes a day to add friends, about 5 to post a bulletin to all the accounts (although im looking for a way to automate this)

Um are you talking about sendin them for customers or sending bulletins to promote your own sites?

Well, i do both, but i was specifically talking about sending bulletins for customers.
I send personal bulletins on a different set of accounts, and they make more, but once the majority of friends have seen it, its no longer effective for that site (which is when i shift those accounts to selling for customers).

With the bulletins I send out the accounts are rotated, I never use the same accounts more than twice a week and try and change the photos as often as possible, this way I am reaching different people with most of the bulletins I send and because the photo is different people don't realise they are coming from the same person. This way the accounts remain relatively fresh.
The conversion rate has remained steady but of course that can be hard to judge, it depends on the subject matter and the niche that is being promoted.
One person who uses me to send out a bulletin once a week to 1million is promoting a niche market, he is really happy if he receives 1000 uniques from the bulletin. He words it so that only people who are guienely interested in his product will bother to click on it. He does very very well from the bulletins.
