View Full Version : People Don't Understand Itrader Ethics

This is stupid, so stupid it makes me scream.

If I pay in a timely manner for a set of glitter, and the seller can not / did not commplete the order, having to refund my money. How does that make me a bad BUYER?

Yet the seller leaves me bad buyer itrader points because I left bad itrader points for the seller due to the sellers ability to complete the order having to refund my money. That makes this person a "bad seller". The sellers lack of readiness, lack of knowledge on how to tag, lack of ability to complete the order, does not make me a bad buyer. This just makes this seller a REALLY bad seller for agreeing to do something she was not even able to do.

The seller then leaves me bad itrader saying she was "spending time with family". Which is a lie and I have proof of this. There is a thread where the seller is "begging" for someone to tag my images for her because she didnt know how. There are also tons of emails and ipager messages sent to me from the seller troughout the day saying "I will have them done soon" or "Just about 15 more minutes" or "sorry it is taking so long".

THE POINT IS: Someone needs to grow up and accept responsibility for being unready, unorganized, and unable to complete the order and not play childish little games leaving the buyer bad itrader points for paying ontime and expecting their order as promised. GROW UP CHILDREN!

I guess itrader is useless when children can play stupid little games such as this. All because "you" are a "REALLY BAD SELLER" that does not make the other person a BAD BUYER if they paid on a timely manner, expecting their package as promised. Its stupidity like this that renders ITRADER useless!

The seller was proably just pissed or trying to get back at you for giving you bad rep. I think that was stupid of the seller. I wish i knew who it was so i make sure not to buy or do business with them incase they don't deliver what the promise, i leave bad rep and in spite they do it back for no good reason!

I don't understand why they would give you bad itrader. You did your part. You paid on time. That really sucks that has happened though.

Too bad the iTrader here isnt like on ebay. On ebay if someone did that you could report them for (eer I forgot the term ebay uses but it's like feedback abuse).
I agree with you saying the iTrader is useless when people do that because then people will leave positive even if they werent happy just out of fear of getting bad feedback in return.

It's called "Retaliation Feedback". I've been trying to get something to stop this going for a few months now, but no one seem's to think its a good idea. Sorry this happened, Dawn.

eBay usually doesn't care about Retaliation feedback unless it's happened to you a lot. They tell you to resolve it between yourselves, which is RIDICULOUS in it's own right, because they are the ones who already gave you the negative for no reason.

I feel the same way about rep points on here now. I created a thread a few days ago, a few people got into an argument about SEO, and I come to find myself and people who defended my idea all were given red rep points by someone, when the only sole person to argue did not. I was pretty angry when all I did was defend myself and I was given bad rep, when that person attacked me! Grr for the red dot by my posts.

Dawn, it definitely sounds like you did your part. It is really too bad that we have to deal with immature unprofessional people on here.
I got a red blob twice! One for posting in a topic that was old. How would I know I can't do that?
The second was when I asked a question. Someone said they didn't know what I was talking about. How rediculous is that? I mean Greg-J knew and answered my question.
The Itrader and the "Blobs"(Sorry, I have no idea what they are) are a good thing but they need a better system.
So I definitely feel for you. You did your part and the seller should have come through and did her part.
Good Luck!
