Hello all
I hope it is acceptable to post here, but I wanted to let you know of the sale.
Due to an increase in commitments surrounding full-time jobs, I am regretfully considering the sale of the Forum Fairy. My partner and I have run the business for a year now and built up the business and its reputation.
Details of the sale are here

We will continue to deal with existing orders and take on new ones during this time and all details will be passed on to the new owner.

There is a post on DP as well.
Good luck with the saleTreacle.
I saw a script for sale by Tops30 on DP a few weeks ago that had the potential to put a big dent in your business ..... but now after looking at the complaints and lack of support for it by Tops30 it obviously doesn't work very well. There are a lot of very upset people gunning for him at the moment.

The Forum Fairy PR4 Posting Business with income for sale
I am considering selling the Forum Fairy Business. The Forum Fairy is a paid posting business with a good reputation and a team of good quality posters. Posters are paid a little higher than the standard rate and posts are checked to ensure that they are of good quality and relevant to the forum .
My partner and I have full-time work commitments which have meant that we are considering selling the site.
Unlike other forum posting companies, we do not rely upon a pool of posters, we have our own dedicated staff.
The Business consists of:
- two domain names of www.theforumfairy.com and www.forumfairy.com which are registered with 1coms and will be pushed to the new owner
- a nicely designed website, with unique logo
- a forum area where we detail the latest posting assignments and communicate with our staff (this area is not able to be viewed by the public)
- custom designed stationery – email templates, invoices, letters
- a series of spreadsheets to manage the posting assignments and payments to posters (I can recommend a management system to replace this)
The new owner will be given details of how the business is being run and a little training.
The current owners have had the business for a year and have made $6,500 in income from posting assignments during that time. The profit margin is around 50% once posters have been paid. The site earns revenue form sale of forum posting packages. The prices of these have remained static for more than a year. Packages can be viewed at www.theforumfairy.com/paid.html. there is some scope for further income through the selling of adverts and additional content. The current prices could also be reviewed.
During the year, we have built up the Page rank from PR0 to PR4. We have paid a minimal amount on advertising as the reputation of the business has brought in more work. There are a number of orders being completed and some new orders which will be passed to the new owners. We also have a number of repeat orders.
There is plenty of scope for development - for example in offering a forum design service and providing other content.
Traffic is around 1000 uniques a month, but most orders come directly by email and through repeat custom and referrals. (Sitepoint gives a screenshot with traffic) .Traffic comes from links from forums such as Digital Point, sitepoint, webmaster sites. June was approaching 2000 uniques. Note - we changed servers twice within May so traffic is low.
NOTE - we are still proceeding with orders and accepting new ones. Details will be passed over to the new owner

Thanks Cyclops for the nice words. I know that some are under the misapprehension that running a forum posting company is straightforward. I am a big fan of original targetted content.

I totally agree Treacle, I paid two Forum posting companies to post on a forum I was trying to establish a couple of years ago .... big mistake, they were absolutely hopeless.
Since then your company has arrived on the scene and I have only heard good reports, pity you are selling it, I can't imagine a new owner running it as well as you do.
