*Seems* like the closest in quality to MSRS, but i haven't heard any reviews or seen any sites using it.

*Seems* like the closest in quality to MSRS, but i haven't heard any reviews or seen any sites using it.I was/am really impressed with how much is included with the script and how many features it has. It has a nice very basic admin cp and most of the good generators out there. Great for the price.
BUT of all my myspace sites it converts the worst! Even worse than the free turnkey scripts lol. To be fair, I am using the default layout and haven't really "decorated" the homepage but so far it's hard to make anything from that site. Supposedly a new update is coming out for it soon with even more features.
Is it worth half the price of a MSRS site? Hard to say because it has so many features/starting content it is pretty nice. But when compare to MSRS it sucks at making any money. With MSRS all you have to do it upload the basic default script and it starts making money immediately and only a matter of driving traffic to it.
Cliffs: mscms is impressive but not as impressive with revenue (YET).
And yes, I guess I am biased. But not so much because I love MSRS, more by my adsense stats/rev lol.

I am not experienced with MySpace websites, I am only just beginning my first, but I bought that. I was not satisfied with it. The code I found to be very messy, needless tags, unclosed tags, random tag closures without openings. Things not working and more.
It was cheap, so you get what you get. Maybe my standards are too high, but I won't be recommending it.
I was so unsatisfied I have binned it and am restarting building a site from scratch myself.
None of the layouts that come with it are useable, they infact are rubbish (could have seen that before I buy on the demo site, but I was eager to get going, silly mistake). The contact tables are also very poor and duplicated. Extended network banners too, poor. All the graphics were taken from another MySpace website and are visibly tagged belonging to them, so if you do use them you're just putting all your efforts into advertising another website, not your own.
I also found the support to be not that great, though I think the guy did his best and first language wasn't English. I just think his script is bad.

actually i was looking at the script for as a source for some content, layout and other things.. but thanx for sharing your experience.
You actually want to use those layouts?
When I look at those I think 'quality over quantity'. I want people who visit my site to remember it for quality layouts, not for having thousands of far far below average ones to chose from.
If you do buy it just for content there will be alot to change... this is what some of the thumbnails for layouts look like...
http://www.myflirtyspace.com/userpics/layouts/thumbnail/2543.jpg http://www.myflirtyspace.com/userpics/layouts/thumbnail/3501.jpg
That isn't the only one that looks like that, loads of them are set to private, so the thumbnail is worthless. How can someone sell something that is unchecked and incorrect and bad?
This (http://www.myflirtyspace.com/myspace-layouts/11/page/7) website uses the layouts, and just look at that page I linked to. 3 of the thumbnails are either profiles set to private or invalid myspace users... what kind of a thumbnail preview is that? If I went to a resource site with those I'd leave, it looks very unreliable, I'd just presume none of the layouts work properly.
Like I said, maybe as I am new to this game my standards are too high, but even if they are I still run my site to my high standards. Just my opinion.

I totally agree. As I said I rushed into this eager to get started, but now I have experienced one of those resource scripts I share your view.
I was surfing about MySpace sites the other day and as a MySpace user not just someone who appreciates good design and quality content, when I surfed onto this page: www.freeweblayouts.net I was instantly impressed by their unique layouts and contact tables/banners. If I found that site as a MySpace user, I'd delete all other bookmarks and just keep that one. That's the kind of content I am aiming for when I open my site.

I came across these http://youtube.com and this one http://google.com what do you reckon DavidR?
It is good to be ambitious, setting yourself targets to match the market leaders within a realistic time frame for example....
But if you won't play basketball unless you are Duncan Ferguson or date unless it is Adriana Lima you end up alone looking at your posters while others are out there doing it.
BTW : You might have talked to Greg but the rest of us are still waiting for an apology or explanation on why you ratted out the MSRS script on sitepoint......

My targets are set to have the same quality content as a leading site as I said, not traffic or status. I don't see how that is anything overally ambitious or crazy? Why would I aim to launch a website with content that is far below that of leading sites? Surely it would be pointless, I'd get nowhere.
I am a good enough designer and website designer I can make layouts and graphics matching the quality on the website I pointed out without problems. So my target is reasonable. Your comment is just silly.
As for this MSRS thing, I wasn't the one reporting it to google. And I haven't spoken to anyone as you have said? I stand by my view, I don't think it is right to match those little single google adsense boxes with other content on your front page, as a trick to get clicks.
Besides, my comment was not against MSRS as I think www.myspacescriptz.com is the owners version of that site, and clearly his single adsense boxes are a different colour background from those around them. My comment was agasint your site www.yourcoolprofile.com, which totally is 100% using adsense on the front page to trick clicks.
I offer no apology as there is nothing to apoligise for, but there is your explaination. You have tried to make it look like I was attacking the entire MSRS thing maybe to get everyone agasint me? But no, it was merely your site as your site I feel is bording on fraudulent regarding adsense. If you want to shoot me for discussing your site, go for it, I wasn't the one who reported it nor did I have any intention to.
If you feel there is nothing wrong with your websites adsense adverts, what is the fuss about? People could report you all day and you'd be fine... that is if you didn't suspect you might be bording on the dodgey side?

I don't see how this would make him "worse of a webmaster"? Most CPC/CPM programmes require you to submit your site for review before being accepted, so he has good reason to think this would also be the case for AdSense.

You missed out an important part of my post, where I stated the answer to my question, which was how to add a new site to an adsense account. I just needed it to be confirmed as I wasn't entirely sure and didn't want to break any rules, something you probably wouldn't be concerned about.

Here is what I do know: To rat out an MSRS site and then come to this forum as if nothing happened is utterly SHAMELESS.
PS : Sorry to have hijacked the thread money_train but I think people have to know what type of individual they are dealing with and the risk they take if they post the name of their sites
I made my point, people can be their own judge and decide how comfortable they are with this guy around.

I'm not sure how many of other MySpace resource scripts are out there, I'm sure there are more than the few I managed to dig up.
I guess if you're not into making your own content, you can buy layouts and banners etc from this site (I think there's a topic or two in The Market place) and a site I'm not too familiar with digitalsource forum or something like that, something similar I know. It won't be original, but the quality will be far better (generally) than what you get with many of the turnkey sites, which in my opinion makes it worth it. No point having loads of unuseable content (Probably repeating myself there!).
Instead of buying an entire site, if you can, it would be good to make your own and buy the scripts/generators seperatly. That way your design is specific to your needs, because you made it with only what you want in mind.
Which sites do you use money_train?

I do not condone abuse of adsense. I will be an advertiser using adsense one day and I know people who use it to advertise, I do not want my clicks to be treated in the way I pointed out above and on another site. I think it needs to be cleaned up. You don't need to make a little campaign against me. I will openly admit I do not condone the abuse of adsense.
On this website (this topic as an example) I have done nothing (until you hijacked) but discuss properly the questions people have asked, I have helped find resources and shared them with others and given my opinions to try and help people - maybe I am inexperienced, but nonetheless the effort is there.
If all you want to do Fishfingers is try and keep MySpace and other sites all over the web abusing adsense then I pitty you. Surely a legit system is far better for all concerned. Just because some people on this website may abuse adsense I don't see it is shameless I turn up here, the majority do not abuse it.
Edit: This topic a good topic on resources. If you want to carry on this discussion Fishfingers, I am happy to. Make another topic I will reply or message me.

So a site running Greg's script with a grey adsense background is an abuse of adsense and you want to clean it up?
Do you know the index grid of myspacescriptz used to be all grey?
"....On this website (this topic as an example) I have done nothing (until you hijacked) but discuss properly"
True. But what good it is to us if on another site you are going to destroy somebody's work?
Edit: Sure, the more people know the better.

the owner of that site only picks certain people, and there arent many who work for him
he pays $15 a layout, so you can imagine the quality that is expected for that price. But of course, at 5k-10k per day, of course he's going to be able to pay that much.

The one on freeturnkey is like this:
http://www.jamresource.com/ - doesn't have an adminCP, kind of annoying to add content to and overall bad. Doesn't at all mean that they aren't very popular or used by a gazillion myspacers as there are some that get TONS of traffic. Seem to also be pretty well SEO'ed.
The secong one is like:
http://justlayouts.net/ - does have an adminCP but still basic and kind of crappy overall. Yet another example that a basic, free/cheap, script that looks and works terrible in our eyes, can be very popular with the average myspace user.
Think of it like the old geocity days when eveyrone first got their first website and just put every annoying, ugly graphic they could on the site. Seems the average myspace user is that for the new generation lol.

Ah right, they are nothing alike, don't know what I was thinking!
A side note on what you've said about Admin panel, or lack of. The 'buymyspacescripts.com' turnkey has no admin panel for adding/removing/editing any graphics, contact tables or extended netowork banners. The admin panel only allows you to add/edit layouts and the adverts.
If you want to add anything else you must find it in the MySQL database and sort everything from there. Sorry to add yet another down point to the list about this script, but this is my experience!

i have not modified anything else on the scipt till now but others who use say its very easy.
Seeing the good results from this script i am looking at buying some other scripts as this one is very expensive for now.
i have installed freeturnkey script here
urspaceurl.com (http://www.urspaceurl.com/)
will try to play around with adding things in some time.
i am also looking for some suggestions on buying some other script now.
someone please suggest a good script where adding content and making changes is easy.
i dont have any experience with coding. so something really simple is more than welcomed.

I'm liking http://www.buymyspacescripts.com/mys...d_turnkey.html the most so far. I'm just starting up with a small budget, and this script seems to have the most content for the buck. Has or is anyone using this script here that can give some insight on what they like or don't like about it. Content, CP, user friendlyness (remember I'm a beginner) so any info helps.
Thanks
Read this topic from the start, I review it a couple times as more bad points pop into my head!
Here's some things I can remember from the top of my head.
Can't add or edit anything but layouts from admin panel, you need to go to MySQL.
Content provided is very poor, layouts don't all work and the graphics are just taken from a site called MySpaceNow or something.
Lots of bad code, and bugs, has a feel to it that it was put together from odd bits of code.

If anyone can help fill in the "?'s" it would be appreciated. If you have another script not listed here please post it so we all can benefit. If you can also post the cost and whether or not it comes with a single site license, that would be helpful too.
I'm new to all this myspace stuff also, and have so far found this forum to be very usefull and full of helpful members. I look forward to becoming an active member and learning from all of you.
Thanx.
I was reading this thread and only register to talk about deccanbazzar.biz, DO NOT BUY SCRIPTS AT DECCANBAZZAR!!!
i have purchased the script a week ago, from the start, the script didnt work, tons of errors, tons of recoding, i contacted support, the guy told me it was my servers fault, then he talked to my host and my host did things to the server the guy ask for.. still the script didnt work. Then he told me to give him a couple hours and he would fix it. Yes in about 4 hours he fixed that part, yet when i tried other things i've just about had it with all the errors and problems.
The admin is very buggy!! images for layouts dont show, all the templates with that script dont work because they are all outdated.
I was lucky to get a refund, i told him that this is umbelievable, i was 4 days on trying to fix the script and make it work. After he refunded me the money the guy sent me a threat letter, that he would take me to court if i told people about my experience. I just shrugged it off and begged him to take me to court because i have everything recorded..
Overall it was a hassle. I DO NOT RECOMMEND BUYING SCRIPTS FROM DECCANBAZZAR.BIZ

I just browsed through this URL you provided but it seems most of the feature available are the ones already there in the Free version. Or am I misisng something over here. I believe maybe this one might be having a good admin panel to control the site.
Would like to know your opinion.
MSRS is MySpace Resource script. The script written by the owner of these forums. You can see a demo at www.myspacescriptz.com

Would like to know your opinion. Most all myspace scripts have the same copied features and tools really. And if not, and it is something good, it will be duplicated anyway.
MSRS (what myspacescriptz is), does not have an admin panel (yet). It doesn't even have as many features or content as many of the other scripts (yet). But it is a very well designed site that looks and workd great. It also makes money because people like the design and bookmark it and come back. The easiest way to explain it is, think of it as a "designer" script. So it comes with a brand and that brand is an excellent site with a great community of other owners. You could buy a generic but your friends will make fun of you ;) (joking mostly with that explaination, but it is also kind of true).

I'm looking to buy some more scripts to mess around with.. the Mscms.com script looks good but I think I'll wait for the next update.

sorry to bring up a pretty old topic
i just thought i'd share my experience with that little script there....
DON'T BUY IT!
I bought it from the site that sells it for 49.99, beforei found this one.
All i can say, is that i was disgusted. I installed it, and their own support couldnt even fix it, after a week. I got a programmer to work on it and he fixed everything exept the upload file, because it was so f*cked that it would've taken him about 4 hours of work to do. According to him the script is written VERY poorly and is very unsecure.
Just thought i'd share my experieince.

I never found any of the off-the-shelf Myspace resource scripts to suit my site... The best thing is to get a custom script that suits your exact needs (off of Scriptlance, etc.). I have a custom-coded solution which cost me $500, but it was worth every penny. :)

So, about MSCMS. I would recommend it, if you can't afford to buy MSRS(which I cant.) I have just finished setting it all up and it goes by veryy smoothly. Granted there are almost 10,000 pictures and .swf's so it takes a while upload. Once you have it all configured its great. You can check out my site at www.ms-codes.com. Join the friend train if you would like. All I have to do now is get some traffic to my site. Errr, the hardest part, actually getting your name out there as a myspace resource site. I have been trying to submit links in places that dont have resource sites already so if someone is happening to be browsing that site he will most likely take a look at my site.
But I would recommend MSCMS great easy to use admin panel. Which you can easily add layouts, generators, codes, and graphics from. Also you can manage news, your friend train, and more. It also comes with a great support forum and an owners forum much like MSRS.
Well if youre looking to buy a myspace resource script and have an unlimited budget get your own made. Less that 300$ buy MSRS, less that 100$ but MSCMS.

i bought that one as well and it does have a number of bugs fortunatly though after a couple hours of analysing and fixing I was able to fix the script. Now I have a working copy that I have used on 3 different sites. Sorry but if i pay money for a script then I am going to install it on as many sites as I like I am not going to keep buying the same script that I already own over and over again that is the stupidest thing I have ever heard of.

Actually, the script that is sold on m2scripts.com is actually halfway decent. It actually works and i'd suggest NOT purchasing the script from myspace-scripts.com because clearly myspace-scripts has NO clue idea what they are talking about or how to code.
However, the m2scripts version is vey nice, and I actually like it quite a lot, especially after I edited it. However, it aggravates me that the admin has to approve layouts 1 by 1, and also has to approve layouts that the admin themselves adds, so yeah, if only i could fix that, i'd be good.
