Well, the other day it wasn't turning on. Finally got it up, and a whole folder of files I had were gone. And just my luck, it was my "Tagging" folder. How great. I thought things couldn't get any worse, until last night happened. My brother was throwing stuff around in my room, and knocked over my tea. Well, at first I didn't notice, but then I felt my leg soaked. Here, the tea had run all over my little stand, and onto my laptop keyboard. I was so mad, I didn't know what to do. I just decided to shake out what got in it, not realizing it was a FULL GLASS that had spilled. I tilted my laptop, and immediatly, huge amounts of tea came pouring out. I was so freaked out/ scared/ mad, I was about to cry. I got all the tea out (or atleast I thought I did) and then it started drying. My keyboard was so sticky, so I cleaned it off and all. Everything seemed fine. Then the "s" key on my keyboard stopped working. Which really sucks because I use "s" alot. Then all my lower keys started sticking. I just decided I'd go to bed, after almost 3 days of no sleep.
I woke up 5 hours later, thinking my laptop would work perfectly fine again. But boy, was I wrong. It wouldn't load properly, and the keys were sticking even worse. Plus, the "s" key still didn't work. I just continued what I was doing, and decided to let my laptop rest longer and I got on my mom's desktop. Finally, she got home, I told her what happened. she seemed pretty mad, but didn't think it would be so bad. And she thought she could just clean the keyboard and it would work fine. We messed with it, nothing changed. So she decided to ask her ex, who just happened to be a pro at fixing computers and knew nearly everything you could imagine about computers. Well, not so great news. We found out that we probably need to replace the whole thing (the "s" key doesnt work, and the keys are sticking really bad). Well, since my laptop is an "off brand", we had to Google it and everything. Finally found a site that had my keyboard. Well, it's $60 to get a new one, plus we'd have to pay someone to install it. How fun. I get to fork over my own money to fix my stupid brother's mistake.
So im thinking about posting a Marketplace thread, and trying to get some work. Oh, and on top of all this, I'm not going to Ohio because I have to replace my damn keyboard PLUS I was supposed to be going to visit my Dad in Maryland this summer, after almost 2 years of not seeing him (he was in prison). Well he cancelled on me because he found a new girlfriend that is more important than me and my brother. How lovely. He's back to his old, inconsiderate self.
:s I just have such an awesome life. Oh yeah, and there's a possibility I might be needing braces. Plus, I have to pay the $300 for my homeschooling. It just freaking figures.
