Logo: you can use the current logo as an inspiration or do something totally different.The only requests are: should be colored (look at the site to get an idea: all the colors change at refresh), and the "Darts" element should appear.

Cornertag: preferably vertical like this one:

Tag: can be a reduced logo. Should be easily readable even small.

Contest ends Wednesday midnight Haiti time (I think it's EST or EST-1h). Thursday I'll choose the winner. I'll need all the files (PSDs, fonts).


I reserve the right not to choose if the designs are not to my liking. But I doubt I'll use this reserve: the designers in this forum are so talented that the big problem will be to eliminate some designs...

Looks great but the cornertag is for popdarts.com, not mypsace.org. Also the site URL does not contrast enough with the background. The site will focus mainly on comments so the Codes, Layouts, Comments does not need to be there.

I also need to see what the tags will look like very small.

Its animated to show the logo works on all colours. However, I think the cornertag could be as it is animated but change colour slightly quicker. This would be effective IMO.

The text of the cornertag should be easily readable.

One other thing: it should be a dart in the target, not an arrow.

I like the cornertags, but feel the letters are too crowded. Same for the the tags.
My wife says the logo is too "felix the cat" style

It's better but the "P" looks like a bigger lowercase "p". Also the tag would be good for big glitters. Could you try it smaller and without the colors?

Very good. Could you change the color of the "r"? On a bad monitor the green does not contrast enough with the orange of the "t".

Looks good too. Now to the buts...
-Could you erase the second dart (in the com) and add a small outline at the end of the 1st dart where the red touches the transparent background? The dart does not show when the background color is reddish.
-The "r" and "t" are too close color wise.
-The motto should use the same font, or a similar one, as the logo.
-The multicolored tag should be a little bigger. In fact I'll probably have several different tags depending on the size of the glitters: one big multi colored and some smaller white/black/grays ones

Could you do it in black, no outline and, if your fonts has this option, not in bold? The yellow with white outline does not show enough when the background is light. (talking of the motto of course, not the logo...)

You can see the white outline in this pic402. It's not the one the one you put in but a problem with the transparency I think.

Sorry for the confusion. What I mean is that the template of the site is just plain colors, no shadows, not much subtleties. Your logo is too detailed for this site.

Gonna go watch a little tennis on TV. Voting will take place tomorrow morning and results will be posted before noon EST. The winner will have to provide logo, cornertag and tag in PSD, or whatever format he used to create them so that I can eventually change them.

I must say that I would have loved to be able to use several of the logos and tags that were presented... But in the end there must be only one! (That might be a good glitter)

After a tight vote SnazzySpace got the majority. But we still need to see how the glitter effect fares in the real changing background. If the glitter does not look good, we have chosen another winner.
