Saw that on the news tonight, they won't arrive in Australia for at least six months .... which the experts say is a good thing, all the bugs should be fixed by then.
They sid don't be too hasty in buying one, apparently there are a few issues that haven't been sorted properly yet.

My treo 700 works just fine for me.
i like the querty keyboard on my phone so the iphone is not for me. my treo has a touchscreen too so im just fine with that.

Yep, that's exactly why i'll wait a bit. I'm only going to get it because of the cool web browser feature. I'm one of those people that surfs for hours on a tiny blackberry screen.. this would be a welcoming change for me.

I have a really crappy cellphone that is several years old. No ringtones, no internet, no games, no camera and a tiny color screen. Ugly bulky plastic casing.
