how bad are these stats.
i want to know what to infer from these stats.
this is a screen shot from the bottom section of my awstats.

need some help here guys.
please tell me what these stats mean.
do i just overlook them?
Does it mean bad hosting?
or something else.

What site is this for? I haven't used awstats before but it looks like 1/3 of your total hits are leading to a 404 error, so that would either mean that you have a lot of broken pages or, as you said, a bad host.

Thats not total hits to the site, just total hits to those error pages. I don't know much about the error pages either really and haven't even setup a 404 yet. But I also get a lot of hits on those.

and these are only the error logs not all all the logs.

Sclint i am noticing a lot of those so i am thinking of taking some precautions for these kinds of error.

waiting for more on these stats.

I think it is actually pretty common. But I don't know enough about it to work on fixing any of them to help lessen it any.

My webdesigner daughter said to just ignore them ...... she said they aren't acurate and a lot of them could come when people click on a link to the page then click back before it loads properly.

thanx for the input i was just getting worried from those.
there are too many hits though and increasing every day.

offtopic though
what do you look for in your stats guys?
i look for unique visitors, some links and then kws sending traffic to my site.?

but there a lot of other things some of them i dont know what to infer from them.

awstats show traffic from each IP what does this indiacte?

What are the other things to watch in the stats????

i look for keywords where im ranked on page 3/4 and then i optimize those.
