That is seriously what I feel like these days with this online business stuff. Struggling for traffic all the time while others just seem to cruise past 100k visitors per day like nothing.

I guess right now I am just getting fustrated trying to find the next best thing, like when the myspace resource scene exploded. I know myeeos is coming but sometimes I get discouraged with that even since the project seems to be moving at such a slow rate.

Anybody here have success with running porn sites? I might have to turn that direction soon.... time to throw those morals out the door. :gun_bandana:

Yea the only thing is I have no experience promoting porn sites for FREE without paying money out for advertising.

But I got the perfect idea and concept for the site though.

I do feel as though I've hit a brick wall. We were doing fine and now that business is slow for selling graphics, I'm completely broke and we can't even pay our bills, so idk what I'm going to do. It sucks, but I don't have the money to throw into advertising my site either. Idk I'm trying to find the next best thing too... this just sucks.

We all go through lulls jeremy, for some it gives them more motivation to kick into higher gear and for some it just gets them depressed and do less work.

Focus the energy on productivity. The sites that cruise past 100k don't do it easy. They may have luck involved but believe me, they're going flat out 110 mile an hour for many many hours a day working on the site.

I will be looking at making some money off adult based affiliates soon I hope, I have been working on this new range of sites for this niche.

Some pay quite well per sign ups around $40-$60/per sign up, way better then this 2cents a click rubbish =)

Why do you think people say SEX SELL's becuase it does...It is one of the biggest money makers online.

When it comes to morals I think its fine, how is it mornally wrong?

Basically its like working in the advertising department for a condom company?

or working as a adult based affiliate marketer???

I dont see how you can class this as been morally wrong. unless your under 18!!!then yes it is...

I know exactly how you feel...especially when it's something that you've worked so hard on for days...weeks...months. I had this one personal project that I was working on for two semesters straight and my grades were falling because I was focusing too much on this project.

At least I got it finished to see the outcome though...

Just start the porn site. I've been thinking about doing that as well and I'm not 18 yet. I know for sure I'm gonna start one as soon as I'm 18, but whatever I might start one earlier.

There's forums for porn webmasters. I forgot the name though. But I'm sure you can learn a lot but hanging out there just like we learn a lot here about MySpace.

I've been there and my biggest advice is:

Analyze where you spend your time. I found that I was spending 90% of my time on sites that created 10% of my revenue. Mainly because I found them more "interesting". Once I forced myself to stop (mainly by selling off a lot of sites) I saw my revenue climb as my work became much more productive.

Stop browsing the forums. By limiting myself to browsing DP, MSP and others once a day, I freed up a lot of the time I was wasting. You may miss out on some deals, but it'll be worth it in the long run.

Have a plan. Write down what needs to be done, and give yourself a time line.

You may not have this problem, but as you can see my biggest issue was time wastage. Stop dicking around, and put your nose to the grindstone. It works.

Also don't be afraid to spend money. This was (and still is) hard for me as well. Free traffic generation works wonders, but a small amount of money spent correctly can bring back it's cost in days. Experiment with cheap methods before you sink a bigger amount in (ie. buy a link for a few days if possible before you commit). It's a lot harder to get to consistent revenue without any advertising budget entirely.

Don't go for the quick cash, build something and try to get it to grow. Arcade sites, Myspace Sites, Proxies. All are what I would consider "fads" in web mastering. Everyone thinks, easy money. Not true. Everything has a formula.

Yes, there's a *** load of money to be made in porn. Same for poker. Same for Currency Trading. There is a learning curve however.

Porn is a hard business to learn, and it's getting harder. The days of posting sample pics to a gallery and watching the subscriptions roll in are long over.

Some of the porn forums however, make MySpacePros look like totally amateurs. It's insane (or used to be at least). However, the people behind them are making quite a bit more (I would assume) than Greg and his team (yet).

If you're hating the MS game and want to get out of it, sure, go for it. Don't expect any other niche to be any easier however. The only people who claim its incredibly easy to make a living on the net are those that are on autopilot and forgot how they started, or those who are trying to push an eCourse on you. Sure it can be easy, but most people struggle hard until they hit that sweet spot.

Not sure if that's any use to anyone, but it what keeps me on course.
