I purchased a script totally unrelated to this myspace resource business. It's meant for internet marketing. I had installed it on a different domain other than my resource site. the installation went fine but parts of the script wouldn't work because it needed to run on an upgraded version of the mysql. fine no big deal. I had it upgraded and the script works fine now. but because of the upgrade, my blog and my resource sites no longer work. i get a database error. the tech who upgraded the mysql warned me ahead of time about this happening. I thought he meant it would only affect the domain that the script is on. blah...

what kind of error are you getting? Depending on what version of mysql you came from it could be a password error because they changed how the passwords are stored, but it is a easy fix if that is the case. Mind you will need ssh access, but your tech should be able to do it for you. Hopefully that is the case.

apparently it was a password error on the hosting's end. thank god everythings back to normal
