MSRS layout structure questions

So far I have only one.

Do MSRS layouts always have the following filees, with the same names, and the same extensions?

bg.jpg
contact.jpg
network.jpg
thumb.jpg
css.php
preview.php

Yes the filenames are always the same if they are in MSRS format

bg.jpg/gif
contact.jpg/gif
network.jpg/gif
css.php
thumb.jpg/gif
preview.php

You dont always have to have all of the image files though....sometimes you will just have

bg.jpg/gif
css.php
thumb.jpg/gif

And will have to add your own preview.php file
