1st layout

Hey everyone I just upgraded my image programs and decided to give a layout a whirl...let me know what you think pretty please...and dont be afraid to be honest if you hate it :surrender:

I think its too plain and the text on the extended network banner doesn't work well with it. it's nice for a first try

its not bad at all. if you're using brushes, then be careful cuz on the background you can see where it cuts off so you'll want to smooth it.

thx I just reup'd it, tried to smooth out the right edge of the bg, looks a little better.

Also changed the text on the extended network to be more readable and added some slight effects to the background of that.

Hopefully that helps it a little bit...any more feedback greatly appreciated.

I like it a lot. You used a good color, and (most of) the text is very readable, which is good.

I'd change the color of the words "Status" , "Zodiac Sign", etc, because it's hard for red-green colorblind people to read. Same holds for the orange text ... it has this annoying blurry effect, the one you get when you put #ff0000 letters on a #0000ff background.

You should also change the css for the headings and links. The default is kind nasty especially with a pink background.

I like the grungy-ness of the actual picture. I think it would look better if you used dark colors to compliment the picture more. The silhouette is really nice, though.
