G eCPM in the crapper

Well, I was very happy 3 weeks ago with my eCPM. It has slowly taken a turn for the worse :( again. eCPM is at a 1/3 of what I was 3 weeks ago. Smartpricing, lull, summer? IDK. I'm getting more traffic, ~200K pv a day, and it seems the better I do in traffic and Google SERPs, the smaller my eCPM. Three weeks ago when I was rocking most of my SERP traffic was from Yahoo. I wonder if that makes a difference.

ah well still happy and making money, just wish the Google gods would smile on me again :)

eCPM for me has stayed the same but about 3 weeks ago my sites CTR went from x.x% to .X% in one single day and i did not change a single thing on my site....so now my site runs almost 100% valueclick ads.......

how low has it gone for you chris? valueclick's ecpm has dropped a bit for me, compared to a month.. i'm at the point now that google makes more than vc :/

My sites have always done better in Google than VC (normally around 1.5 to 2x better). Yesterday it was neck and neck though. I'm happy with my VC eCPMs. Just wish Google would stablelize somwhere much further North of where it is now.
