okay im using my father's friend's paypal.. he lives in UK btw.. and now his paypal account got limited bcuz we sent big money to a new account and now its asking for the card number etc.. my prob now is.. idnt have contact with my father's friend.. which means i cnt activate that account anymore.. i still have like $xxx amount there.. and im scared paypal will get my money.. :(:( it sucks.. i dont know how to call him and he's not on YM always.. :(

and i just got a pm (from other forum) the guy is mad cuz he paid me and i ddnt give him the stuff.. and i was like Huh? and he said he paid.. i ddnt knw cuz i cnt even access my paypal :( so to anyone who paid or something please tell me and provide screen shot or whatever so i cn send ur stuff..

OMFG! I feel so bad for you :( I'm using my mom's paypal, because I haven't had time to setup mine. Mine's getting limited because I can only recieve a certain amount, and im about to reach the max. I may need to upgrade. But that really sucks rize. Sorry it happened!

Why wouldn't you get your own account? As long as you have a valid bank account, you can set one up in your name regardless if you're under 18 (I had mine since I was 15).

u guys are just very lucky ur not in my country.. paypal is limited here ahha. so its like this... i asked my father's friend if i cn use his paypal for 3 months.. since i have no school and stuff.. so yeah it all worked and stuff.. tiff helps me transfer my money in my bank. then....... my father got into "make money in the internet thing" idk what he's doing(we use the same paypal).. and then when i checked i got that paypal warning something. :(:( ohh and im mad cuz that day im supposed to tranfer the money into my bank... im just soooo mad at myself..

That really sucks rize, although i don't agree with using a setup like that I know that PayPal has more restrictions in some countries which would have made it seem like a good idea to you at the time, but yea you really need to get your own account because if it gets limited and its in your name and you dont have a credit card you can ask them to send you documents to sign and return instead to get the account restored.

Any chance that you can set up a totally new PP account that you or your father can control directly? IMHO the best thing to do is try to keep the "friend" out of the equation.

Rize, you can increase your limit by becoming a verified member. You can apply for a debit card and add the card information there.
