taking screenshot of the layout?

I know few sites have this implented.
I wanted a script where it will automatically take a picture of the layout and then host it on the server.
Can anyone forward me to any free php script or give any hints on how to do this!

i think that's how you do it if you had a windows server or, linux server running x... someone told me you can do it without x if you use something called xtvb (spelling?) something similar to that.
