Stiff Neck! >.<

oouch, so i went to the lake with a couple friends yesterday and since i dont know how to swim, i had to wear a lifejacket, which was pretty annoying but at least i wont drown :yes: and my friend said my neck probably hurts from the jacket, but i dunno we were jumping off cliffs and stuff and i might have got whiplash when i hit the water. anywhooooo does anyone know how to relieve a stiff neck? i've been massaging it and it doesnt feel any better. Should i put ice on it? or heat? hmm i kinda want to get rid of it tonight since i start behind the wheel tomorrow and thats not good since i cant move my neck!:hang:

You were jumping off cliffs into water wearing a lifejacket because you couldn't swim? *shakes head* Are you trying out for a Darwin Award?

Usually if my neck hurts it's because it's tense and thinks it needs to stay tense in some direction. So I press my head against the pillow lightly in the direction it hurts to loosen those muscles and let them know they can loosen up.

oh i'm famous for pulling a muscle in my neck...... IcyHot and Salonpas patches<--found at walgreens is the only thing that works for me.....and ibuprofen to help relax the muscles hehe good luck
