If you have a google webmaster account and have your sitemap registered. All you need do is update the sitemap (if needed) if all you did was change titles and descriptions then no need to update your sitemap. So really all you have to do is wait for google to crawl it again. Which I'm sure will be some time in the near future.

How can I request a change in how much Googlebot crawls my site?
Googlebot has sophisticated algorithms that determine how much to crawl each site. Our goal is to crawl as many pages from your site as we can on each visit without overwhelming your server's bandwidth. You can use the crawl rate tool, available from the Diagnostic tab, to ask us to change the rate at which we crawl your site. You can also see information about how much Googlebot has crawled your site over the previous 90 days. If you would like us to slow down our crawl of your site, simply choose the Slower option and click Save. This new, slower, rate will be valid for 90 days. If we determine that we are limiting how much we crawl your site (in other words, we would crawl your site more if we felt your server could handle the additional bandwidth), we will let you know this and offer the option for a faster crawl. If you would like Googlebot to crawl your site more quickly, simply choose the Faster option and click Save. At any time, you can return to this tool and choose Normal to return the crawl rate to its original setting. If, after 90 days, you don't want your crawl rate to return to normal, you can return to the tool and choose Slow or Faster again.

I just found this:
http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=dollcharm&btnG=Google+Search
See how the index page hasn't been updated and everything else has?
Why the hell is that happening...
I need the index to open because I made my description more appealing and hopefully, seeing as im on first page for cartoon dolls, more people will click.
Oh and as for that crawl rate thing, it doesnt show faster as an option, says: "The rate at which Googlebot crawls is based on many factors. At this time, crawl rate is not a factor in your site's crawl. If it becomes a factor, the Faster option below will become available."

it depends on the site, and what google bot thinks about your site...you should wait, the bot will come and update the changes you made, the sitemap thing should help but not that much

Make sure you have a sitemap, do like connections suggested with the crawl rate, and if all that looks good then you just need to update your index page more often and keep adding content.
I had one site that I updated every day (including the index page) generating 3 or 4 new pages a day and Google was visiting my site a couple of times every day and re-indexed my sites home page every couple of days sometimes every 5 or 6 days at the most

A few good inbound links help google spider your site frequently. Make sure you link to subpages as well.

Thanks for the tips guys.
Google just updated my site.
I am so happy you have no idea, I'm now just under thedollpalace.com, the biggest cartoon doll site around, in google for 'cartoon dolls' which is pretty good. I used to be last on the first page and now I'm like, fifth. I'm very happy :)
