I hope someone can help me figure this out. I have few myspace.cn profiles linking back to my site, however, all my site backlinks, are showing url of .cn instead of my .com - which also creates a problem because the generators and images are not loading, because they are trying to load from cre8myspace.cn and not cre8myspace.com
Here are a couple of examples:
http://profile.myspace.cn/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.viewprofile&friendid=1000429048
My corner tag shows .cn
http://profile.myspace.cn/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.viewprofile&friendid=13197179
http://profile.myspace.cn/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.viewprofile&friendid=95573342
This one has my flash banner in one of the comments, but that does not load, and shows .cn back link

Well, it is hard coded into their profile, so the only way you could take advantage of the linkbacks is to obain cre8myspace.cn unfortunatley.

Is there anything I can change on my end, to prevent it from happening anymore?

Well so long as the code the user is copying and pasting into their profile contains the .com and not .cn, it must be a myspace china thing where they replace .com with .cn
I've heard China is extremely strict, filters URLs, even Google at one stage! So It could be to do with that.
If it's myspace changing it, theres nothing you can do other than to obtain the .cn version of your domain name.

It shows the right extensions for all other resource sites, but seems to have a problem with mine. :? :? :?

I would obtain the .cn version of your domain and then use .htaccess to redirect all the visitors to your regular site....

No. That's why you should acquire the .cn version of the domain, and mirror the site. Could be penalized for duplicate content, but are the amount of .cn backlinks worth it?

Then if it isn't worth it, I'd just filter chinese traffic away from your site, or to a page explaining that images will not work on their profiles due to a myspace filter.
Use geotargetting to do it.
