You have to see this to believe it, and even then it's hard to believe...

wow thats pretty amazing. Did you see how happy that scientist guy was? lol. Much respect to that inventor especially for not doing it for profitable reasons but rather to find a cure for cancer.

The oil companies will make sure this gets "lost" or forgotten soon enough don't worry.
Theyll even buy the rights to it if they have to.

Doubt it nowadays. Oil is running out so fast it wont be long now til it's completely gone and this idea has been broadcast so even if not now, it will NEVER be forgotten and brought back up when oil does run out.
I bet when he does sell this idea he's gonna get SERIOUS money $$$$
He'll prolly go on to find the cure for cancer in the next 6 months too ;)
Clever guy :P

That's amazing, that literally is the dream, pretty much completely clean.
I think he should quit looking for a cure for cancer though. Judging by his success rate, he should research how to make bananas the size of houses, that way he can stumble upon the cure for cancer.

Wow! That is amazing... I hope they dont just ignore his idea, just because they want to make money from selling oil at expensive prices...

That is truly amazing. Imagine now if they could get this to work with vehicles. We could pretty much solve our global warming problem. I wonder why no companies are going crazy over this yet? It is certainly better than crashing our corn supply on ethanol fuels or whatever.

I thought that clip mentioned that he used RADIO WAVES to act on the molecules in the water. Which is all fine, but of course then you need an energy source to EMIT radio waves!
Unless we can figure out a way of generating radio waves without an energy source!

Okay my concern here is that not only are we already sucking up all of our worlds resources, lets now suck our oceans dry.
I was recently at the Chevy dealer looking at the flex fuel trucks. These are the ones that work off of grain / booz. The sad reality is that you can use liquer which can be purchased at any liquer store. And did you know that with today's gas prices, liquer is cheaper.
But the biggest downfall is, you would have to buy an awful lot of bottles of liquer to fill up a truck. I think you would be investigated for purchasing this for resale. Or at the least, be considered a serious alcholic. rofl
The nearest grain fuel place to me unfortunitely is all the way in ATL. =(

My Yukon runs off Flex-Fuel/E85, but the gas mileage you get using E85 is far worse than Petroleum and you get less power output. It's really not much more than a sales gimmick unfortunately. I mean it works, but what's the point?
As for this type of wave needing energy, I'm sure they would explore a hybrid solution.

FACT: SALT WATER MAKES UP 94% OF ALL WATER ON EARTH. 97% OF ALL LIVING SPACE ON EARTH IS IN THE OCEANS.
If you had to pick one resource on earth which we have the most of...it would certainly be saltwater. This would mean we can fuel up for practically free. Thats what makes this stumble that much more incredible.
I mentioned this to a friend of mine and he said it would never happen because the government wouldnt allow it.

it's neat, but hardly amazing... in the real world, its useless.
It would require a lot more energy than it would produce.
Pretty much the same as ethanol, but every tom **** and harry has blindly jumped on that bandwagon as well.

it is the first question that popped in my mind and typical bad science reporting ignored it. How much energy in vs energy out? But that would be mean spirited...

I bet it is actually less efficient than other methods of separating water into hydrogen and oxygen. But adds an ignition source and flame for the TV airheads.
