yeah, thatd be cool :D id be able to pay the $30 for 3 months thing :P it might work out better for people who have a low budget and may be taking a break from designing or whatever in the next months.

It's fine as it is, it took a lot of fine tuning to get it down as best as possible for everyone.

And your right the post count thing is good but we are making money of the forum so Greg-J should get something back in return.

Putting ads on the forum wouldn't do much for income and would get in the way more than they would help. I've thought about selling sitewide text links, but I'm much more focused on myeeos than milking the forums for every penny I can.

I def. agree with this. I must admit, I was not fond of this at first - but once I've gotten use to it I have to say its great just how it is. And at some points, I honestly think it should be RAISED. (Yes, coming from someone who has NO money!)

Cyclops is right. It took a lot of tinkering to get it just right and it works well the way it is now. Anyone who's been here for any length of time knows how much tinkering I've done to the forums and how some of it has not gone so well, so if it's not broke I'm pretty content not fixing it.

The price is fine the way it is. This prevents spam and brings out the best quality products out of the seller since it would not be worth while to spend $5.00 to sell complete garbage.

yeah. like i said, we don't want to be like Digital Point here with all the spam. And all the fraud and scam in the marketplace

Exactly.
I think that's why it should stay in place.

That would still create the same issues.
Besides if the quality of the product the vendor is selling is good enough they can EASILY make back the measly $5 outlay :)

If you can't afford it then stick to buying individual marketplace threads instead of the vendor subscription. The vendor subscription will save you a lot of money IF you're making more than two or three threads per month.
Personally I think it's perfect right now, I don't think paying $5 a thread is a big deal when most people make much more than that with sales through the thread.
