For those that use analytics, what is your average page views and bounce rate on MySpace sites?
My PV is 6.9 and my BR is 29%.

For my current sites
PV is 4.3
BR is 32%

My best site was
PV = 19
BR = 23%

Just found this thread. Great topic! I love stats and I think anyone that doesnt moniter this stuff just isnt smart.

I think more people should post here . I am curious as to what other peoples Bounce Rates are. I think we should add what is your avg time on site as well.

Heres my stats from last month:

Avg Page Views: 3.96 (not too bad considering I have few pages)
Avg Bounce Rate: 29.19%
Avg Time on Site: 3:07mins

What is the url for this site? I want to analyze your landing page, obviously its super effective with 24% bounce.

Impressive. I was just reading an article about how achieving under 20% bounce rate is HARD and deserves a big pat on the back :) Are those the sites listed in your sig?

It sure is. The lower the better. Bounce Rate is the % of people that hit your page ad leave immdiatly. An Exit is different

What analytics do you guys use to get these numbers? I have a fear that my bounce rate is very high but I'm not sure where to get that information from.

I have been using google analytics for the passed year and a half and its great as well as free :)

i used to have a 17.3% bounce rate about 6 months ago. i need to get it back there but i'm ranking really high on a certain search engine query that's killing my bounce rate (though i guess the traffic doesn't hurt)

Try adding something really cool and unique twards the top of your page so that the user sees it when the page first loads that way your visitors first reaction is either wow or wtf and stays on your site just to check it out out of curiosity

I found higher bounce rates = more adsense, but your CPM takes a hit

Yeah, I'm finding the same. The page that everyone keeps landing on from that one misinformed search engine query that's killing my bounce rate has the highest CTR on the site.

Wow super impressive.

My new site is just 3 days old but here is a sample from yesterday:

13.39 PV
10.29% BR

Thats on 875 visitors.

Today I am on track to get well over 1000 3 days in I can't complain there :)

I am super happy with that.
