I'm going to keep posting in here until people get sick of seeing my work and start posting some of there own or until this section dies and remove it...
I needed a break from myeeos this evening and in light of a post I made earlier regarding the Transformers movie I figured I'd make a wallpaper for my son. I'll make this explanation shorter than the shrek wallpapers' I promise. Well, I'll try.
These are the original two images I started out with (resized to fit onscreen)

I cut both of the robots out using a combination of the marquee and a 3, 5 & 9 px eraser (brush) at various strengths and overlayed each onto the others city scape background and found that they looked better on the rustier sky than the other which worked great because there was far less city scape to create to fill in the gaps where it didn't reach.
Most of the time was spent on touching up the cutting out of the left robot, dulling the colors to make the two work better together in the scene and bringing out the finer details that were lost with the all the color correction the original artist had done to each render. Fortunately they were both lit almost identically when they were rendered so I didn't have to do a thing with it.
A quick copy and paste of the logo and a little correction to make it less shiny and that was that.

Again, not the most complex of wallpapers - but I don't have time for anything else these days. Enjoy the wallpaper, all I ask is that you don't post it anywhere else or use it for a layout. I'd like to keep as a gift for my son and something I shared with you all.
