Or might I say the finger. Every 15 days I seem to fall down in the serps either 60 or completely. What's up with this? Anyone else getting the random shaft from Google? Mine happened last night my domain used to rank #1 for My Web Power which would make sense since my domain is mywebpower and now I cant even find it. grrrrrr:censored: :censored: :censored: google

I am already gone from Google for 4 weeks for 2 of my sites. Only thing what we can do is sit and wait dont change the website just continue with linkbuilding etc. My index pages for one of my dropped site doubles so when i will be back in google i a sure i will get more traffic from google.

Google (and Yahoo) often make slight adjustments to the algos just to keep the search results fresh and not have the same sites continually dominate the top results. ;)

Keep in mind.... With the advent of msplinks.com, all of us are losing backlinks every time somebody's comments get shifted off of their front page. We are also not gaining a steady stream of new ones as was the case before.
Still should be able to garner more traffic from Myspace itself than from Google, unless we happen to rank for terms that get many tens of thousands of searches daily.

ever since that msplinks.com has taken effect, my traffic has dropped by a few thousand uniques. This feels like the great depression.

Google also constantly tweaks its algorithm to make it more difficult for anyone to find ways to game the SERPS. My suggestion would be to build a really solid backlink profile for those keywords, it seems like the sites with stronger backlinks do not seem to bounce around as much

yeah they switched me off for a good keyword a month ago. Today I'm back in the top 10. Weird.

Yep, Google is in what I call everflux. The search relsults are always changing. I sure do miss the good old days of the once a month google dance.
