i dont plan to have a ton of images hosted on my site itself, (most graphics/images will be on different site) but how much bandwith do some of your sites take up per month, based on not having majority of the images on your site.

because the host i have now is being a fool, so i want to switch to a VPS, and not sure how much bandwidth i should start out with it.

so if you can please provide
1. a good VPS that is reliable and great uptime
2. how much bandwidth per month you use for your site, please dont reply (unless its about a good VPS) if you host majority of the images on your site itself

Depends on the size of your pages and the amount of traffic you get.

I don't get a heck of a lot of traffic to speak of but I used close to 60 gb of bandwidth last month. I do not host any of my images except a small 120x120 logo.

hmm, the only thing im worried about starting with a low bandwidth solution is the problem of transferring to new server if i need to upgrade and dont likethe company

mind if i ask what ur uniques are so i can judge a little bit based off that?

As far as a VPS goes, try httpme.com - super reliable, and their reputation is untarnished - you can start with the smallest plan and upgrade in a matter of minutes when necessary; there is no need to "transfer to a new server".

You might want to try wiredtree.com ? superb speed and superb quality

P.S A low end vps plan provide you with 200 GB of bandwidth. I think it is more than enough to host 2 medium traffic myspace resource site ( 2000 Uniques per day). It depends .. VPS is limited in the RAM. So, it might slow down your site or if your site uses Cpanel.

Yeach its true.. Last Month i use for 30 Gb of bandwith, and this month maybe 60 more bandwith in my site. why cause my visitor 3500 until 5500 /day and big impression. i use 130x130 for the picture.
