Is it possible to have a 3 column layout on myspace?
Most of them seem to be two column. I would like to move the user comments section to a middle column.

Thanks,

Well theres something called Div Layouts that may allow you to do this. Do a Google search for "MySpace DIV Layouts" and see what ya come out with.

This is the only way I see you getting 3 columns as of this point.

Any one else ??

It is probably doable, using something called a div overlay, it's not for the faint hearted though, you really need to know what your doing to make it work properly.

Seriously, this is my first time actually trying to do anything in myspace and I feel like a complete dummy. I am having a hard time getting the page to look anything like I want it to. It seems that that modifications are primarily driven by CSS which I don't know well at all. Time to start learning it I guess.

To anyone who knows how to manipulate the myspace page well, how did you figure it out? Is there any documentation out there? Did you just look at the source code and figure out what needed to be done? I am pushing forward and will keep trying to get what I want done with just modifying the simple way. Div Overlay is on a whole different level....

Any resources or tutorials you guys found useful would be great. They generators I have used do well for basic changes but I havent been able to find one that does exactly what I want. Plus, I think having the ability to make the changes manually is going to help down the road.

I think most of us have learned by trial and error (and looking at the code)

Try this; Use one of the generators to get a layout as close as you can to what you want and then post questions here for the final tweaks to get it the way you want.

Post exactly what you do want. I'm quite knowledgable when it comes to css, but I can't help you unless you know what you're after ;)
