What do you guys think about Lunarpages? Would anyone recommend them as a dedicated hosting company? any downtime? I wanted to cluster 4 of their dedicated II servers. Their the cheapest clustering services i can find.

I used them 2 years ago, that was on a shared server though. When it was time to step it up to dedicated I moved away from lunarpages. I can't say that I have too many complaints about them, I just left because I wanted to work with a smaller company and have constant attention.
One time i ran into a problem that was their fault and i had to talk to 3 idiots that work there with 24 hours of downtime before they realized their stats software was faulty.
They're becoming very popular. They must be doing something right to get all that business.

Thanks for the reply! .. Their become popular because they're overselling their servers "3500 GB Bandwidth" for $6.95. Yeah right. Before you even get able to spend 1/10th of that you would get suspended lol..:2guns:

I looked at them when i was first starting but after reading a bunch of user reviews decided to go elseware....but they do seem to have top reviews on several hosting review sites

I can't vouch for that particular service from them (dedicated servers), but I have had one shared hosting account with them for 5 years and have never had any problem whatsoever with reliability.
I have been through dozens of webhosts over the years and Lunarpages is one of only 4 that I would heartily recommend without hesitation.

They rarely go down, but their support is horrible. But when they DO go down, it's a long time. Not more than a day, but hours.

Ive Been with them for 3.5 years and havent been down more that two times.
I honestly havent had any problems at all matter of fact I just started with another host and ..I'm thinking of how much i like my lunarpages.. But I know better then 1 on 1 crap and go daddy that doesnt let you upload more than so many bites at a time..
well any way I'll stop rambling..
peace all!

for dedicated... try steadfast, layeredtech or softlayer

I'm going to sign up with soft layer which is where a lot of people recommended me to go to.. hopefully they don't outgrow themselves..
