Fun community project: Myspacepros screensaver

With this community so active and the new project promoting community participation I thought it would be fun to have a project we can all have fun with. I don't use screensaves because they're boring, but I would if I had one that was fun.

So let's make a Myspacepros member secreensaver. I'll build the screensaver as I have the software to do it, but I want the community to provide the images.

When making an image think about it as a slideshow. It will be done in flash and then converted to a screensaver when it's done. Make it about you, make it about your personality. Design it like you would a background image for a profile in that the image should blend with a solid color for those people that have bigger monitors than your image can fill. Make it yourself or have a friend who is good at designing make one.

I hope the designers really get into this.

Yep. You're making a single frame for a screensaver slideshow. You can make more than one if you want to make one about a particularly funny thread here on the site, or one persons quote that made everyone laugh...

yeah, i was bored, after sifting through thousands of files on my pc, thought this would be fun. i am gonna do another one, this one was just quickly put together

You know what i'm thinking... I'm thinking it might be a little more fun and interactive (and get people to want to get to know one another) if we had to do the screensaver on someone else... Maybe their favorite person? Funniest person? Meanest person? Maybe even a group? They can make up their own group of friends and call them whatever they want? I just think it might be a little more fun?

I dont think you can put animations on the screensaver?????
but i think its cool. you dont need anyone to do anything to it, cuz then it's not totally your work. LOL:clap:
