myeeos misspellings

Misspelled search terms can be a source of traffic. Although Google will respond with Did you mean ......? , many people will click the results presented anyway.

How would you rank for misspelled words? By using misspelled words in the:
- Text on page/ navigation
- Anchor text of incoming links
- Title on page

However, if your page is full of misspelled words, I would think that users may trust your site less. So moderation needs to be practiced with misspellings.

well as of yesterday there were 116 domains (.com, .net, .org only) that conainted myeeos whereas less than a week ago there was 4. maybe typos are the way to go for people a little late to registering names.

Not really. Myspace is known for pursuing their trademark, and I've personally heard of several people being forced to hand over their myspace typos in fear of getting sued.

Myspace typos are ticking bombs, stay away is my advice...
