Hey guys are any of you getting any problems with your gens working in IE
I found this
http://www.baekdal.com/articles/Technology/microsoft-ie-activex-update/
which is saying the embedded thingy needs changing.
Just wondered if this is just a problem i'm getting or if anyone else is.
Thanks

With my generators it's usually a problem where the flash vars are only being passed in FF because they are located in the second src= line while IE requires them to be either on the first or under flashvars=

I use a javascript file to embed my gens to get around the IE ActiveX embed issues. (MS lost a lawsuit last year with a small company named EOLAS that had patented "embedded media"). Ridiculous, so instead of paying to embed media, they said screw you. So, here we are using javascript to embed flash in IE so the user doesn't have to click once to activate the swf.
With that said, if you have JS turned off on your browser, my flash gens won't work. They need JS to handle the embed. Also, try reuploading the flashobject.js file as ASCII and see if that makes a difference.

Thanks Carlee.
Maybe it's just me they are not working for LOL
If anyone is using IE 7 could you please let me know if they work for you.
Thank you :)

I have a gen problem.
In IE the page STRECHES. Like so it scrolls sideways it's AWFUL.
But they fit perfectly in my 450px content area in FF. Just IE seems to make gens stretch my website all over the place (IE 7) I'm so confused =/
