search volume question

Which keywords have a higher search volume on google? hot myspace layouts or love myspace layouts? I was using a few tools to see, but kept getting conflicting results. If anyone can recommend any good ones for this please post.

Use the tool at SEObook.com it will give you the overall search volume as well as the individual search volumes for Google, Yahoo, and MSN....I think for overall search volume it takes its results from wordtracker which seems to be the standard amongst webmasters

premium kdd says the hot version has 150 searches a day and love has 83.

hmm i dont think thats right cause my site is at #7 for hot myspace layouts in Google and gets over 200 visits a day from it.......

Keyword tools are useless if you want exact amounts, I use the numbers only to gather relative values (i.e. this term receives more than that term)...

The methods the keyword tools use to build their databases mean they will never be able to deliver entirely accurate search information..

of course thats the nature of any software program, for the keywords i target I have not found them to be to far off usually within 10% of the real amount of traffic i recieve

I usually have a look at google trends, but I agree that nothing will give you any really accurate info
