Sending Comments and Bulletins

I have never really used comments or bulletins to promote my site. While I know the limits for how many of each you can send I was just wondering what others typically do in regards to their comment and bulletin campains like how many do you usually send out? How often?

Depending on how many friends you have. I'd send like 200-300 comments every 1-2 weeks to my friends and do 1-2 bulletins every 1-2 days.

i got 2 accounts with 1200 friends and one account with 3800 friends one of the small accounts and the larger account are a year old and the other smaller account is 2 1/2 years old

5000 friends wont be that good, but its better then nothing and a good starting point,

1) personal comment to every friend each week, with url link to site...something effective that will generate traffic, something personal and something they wont delete!!!
2) maby a few bulletins each week to notify friends of whats going down on your site.

I mean liek this time 1 year ago it was very effective to send out promotion for your sites,

but today results are down, its not good for business at all you have to find niche was to advertise.

I normally just post bulletins... Or attach a site link somewhere.

Try to get people to subscribe to your blog. Then update your blog everytime you add new content to your site. That helps for me. As far as bulletins go I would send them out a few times a week. I would try to send out Birthday Comments to everyone and if someone comments you try to comment them back. Or you can always send out Thanks for the Add Comments.

If you have some good friends that have large friend counts see if they would help you send out comments and bulletins.
