Changing Link urls

I was just going through a few of my sites I haven't updated in a while and I saw that it was still getting about 2k after about a year without updates. It gets about 90% traffic from SE from myspace related searches and it ranks really well for most keywords that I was targeting. Now Im thinking about redoing the site coding since its kinda sloppy and I've learned a lot since I coded it. Im just not sure If I should since all the links and ranking from google will change since all the links with the new system will be different. Or do you guys think that google will easily pick up my new links since they had good ranking before?

if the text on your site stays the same it shouldn't effect you to much. as for the links if you are referring to changing them from yourdomain.com to www.yourdomain.com just use a search engine friendly 301 redirect to redirect your link popularity and PR to the new format.
