Finding Keywords
There are many different ways to find keywords for your website. Some good
keyword ideas are:
• Words people would search for to find your product
• Problems your prospective customers may be trying to solve with your
product or service (even if they do not know you exist)
• Keyword tags on competitors’ websites
• Visible page copy on competitors’ websites
• Related search suggestions on large search engines such as Google or
Yahoo
• Keyword groupings via tools such as Google Sets or the MSN
clustering technology preview
• Keyword suggestion tools

Exactly everyone thinks they should start off targeting words like myspace layouts and myspace codes and get frusterated when they work on their site for months with no results.
A new site (less than 6 months old) should be targeting variations of those words such as cute myspace layouts, tiny myspace layouts ect. They are much easier to rank for and by still having the word myspace layouts in them you are essentially "priming" your domain for when it is old enough to try and target bigger keywords :)

good list minnseoelite
common typos are another form of keywords, might not yield much but it's still traffic, really depends on the keyword on how easily it can be mis-spelled.
i've had some great returns on CPA campaigns with some common typos on adwords, should do just as good with organic!

Yup typo's are good for traffic as well especially if you are going after typo's of already popular keywords like myspace layouts and myspace graphics.....I forgot to include that partly cause I figured it was a given :P
