Wow... I am having so much fun playing around Myspace... it is just amazing how horney those Myspace geeks are! I setup a profile that I wanted to use as a testing one, and used the info and photos of my ex-girlfriend. So I started playing around the css, seeing how everything works.

Then I got bored and found some friend adder while I was browsing and decided to give it a try. Sent friend requests to both women and men. Well, I have only got about 10% of the women accept my request, while the men are all over me. My message box is flooded with messages asking me to go on IM and chat with them.

I was just missing so much... I never used myspace because it is just such an ugly place... but now that I have browsed around many profiles I start to understand what the users like. I have also found several small myspace content sites that have given me a few good ideas of stuff to add to my site.

I guess I will now try setting up a profile with a hot guy's photo and send requests to young girls... where can I get a photo of a hot guy?... oh, yeah! Just need to take my camera out and pose :)

The making of an addict right here. Should we plan the intervention now or wait until he has the cursors on his profile?

Yeah, just leave it in the open section... trying to populate the forums ;)

Drew

yeah but putting stuff about faking profiles in the user section....where users are most likely to see it...

Yeah... guess you are right

... used the info and photos of my ex-girlfriend

I thought about doing that but didn't think it would be fair to put pictures of her all over the internet. Did you ask for your ex-girlfriend's consent or did it not even cross your mind?

Screw her, that's what she gets for dumping me!

I bet fryman goes on a profile/friend binge now and creates heaps of profiles with millions of friends!

Actualy I am thinking of this as a business... lots of lazy people out there are looking for ready-made accounts with friends, so I guess I could build up some good ones. Not the phished crap you find at DP, but well targeted profiles aimed at different interests.

fryman is cracking! Only a matter of time before he is selling bulletins on DP and becomes his own worst enemy heheh.

fryman
August 24th, 2006, 06:11 AM
hahahahaha

Well, I have received a big amount of bulletins in the past couple of hours, I will take a look at them later and see what people actually do with them.

She hardly knows what the power button is for... I doubt she will ever visit Myspace

Dammit... I have so much to do and Myspace is screwed up once again and showing all kind of errors.

yeah I considered that, but even using adderrobot I decided it was more profitable to spend my time doing other things.

This is how I price my time when doing revenue generating work:

1 hour is worth $240, this figure is based on how much I could earn by spending an hour working on something that generates revenue in the future, eg 1 hour coding something or adding content. It should generate at least this amount over the next 3 months, if it can't then I'm not spending my time in the most effective manner.

There are variables in that equation though, because sometimes an hour at $0 is worth far more than an hour at $240, but I'm sure everyone already understands that concept.

I've been using something called friendbot. Not exactly high quality stuff, but it seems to be doing the job.

Whatever happened to this fryman guy?

Fryman moved from Mexico to Canada and started going to school there and got a part time job at a resort.

The money he made from his sites back then made it possible for him to start a new life. Fryman had the largest traffic of everyone on MSP then and was rolling in the money. He was blunt and to the point and sometimes people just didnt understand him or why he would say some of the things he would say. But if you ever got to know him personally he was an ok guy.

Ah, good old days... When I started I was one of the lucky ones to get into the arbitrage game. I was paying one cent per click driving people to my site and earning several cents if they clicked on my ads. After a short while I was spending a couple of hundred dollars a day driving thousands of people and making crazy money.

But I knew it wouldn't last forever... so I saved up my earnings waiting for a change and some months later Google smartpriced me, my adwords costs skyrocketed and my adsense revenue dropped like a rock.

Now I have almost retired from the myspace scene and moved onto the "real world". Used some of the money I earned to open a couple of restaurants back home, bought a small piece of land where I will build a house someday, bought a new car, and still have a nice chunk of cash in the bank.

Takes a lot of work and a bit of luck, but if you are in the right place at the right time you can earn a lot on the net. For example I am now doing affiliate work and still earning a few thousand bucks a month without even moving a finger. ;)
