Well for a while now the myspace bulletins have became only a link. I still see alot of people offering to promote through bulletins. Does that promotion even still work cuz to be honest since they turned it into a link instead of the last 4 bulletins I have not checked them.

It changes to a link after you get so many friends.

If u have a targeted list and you have a product that the people on the list and a account that the people want to see then bulletins still work great.

If you just ahve a account with random demographic/ un targeted of friends and you are promoting "penis pills" or something hell dodgey you will get no profit, no clicks or nothing.

Its all about targeted accounts + targeted products when marketing via bulletins.

Your so wrong about that, I personally know one person who makes 50k a week through posting bulletins. Not penis pills lol but other random stuff.

Bulletins may not be what they were a few months ago but if you can write an attention-grabbing headline and a good short sharp description then people still check them out.
You have to draw on peoples curiosity. It's got to be something that acts almost as a challenge to the reader to go ahead and see if they are missing something.

Bulletins haven't reached their use by date yet, you just have to get more creative.

Like I said if you have something that appeals to teens then of course if its something random that people will like then yeah for sure you can make money off them.

I have tried it all but ringtone deals on 500k band accounts, affiliate links on high friend profiles all that junk via pm you cant make much money at all from it...
I highly doubt this guys making 50k a week unless he is some majior spammer with massive lists. Or some one using dodgey account creating techniques to spam myspace.

I deffiantly agree with you about the bulletin title but this is one of the biggest factor, also the wording of the bulletin is another big factor in CTR.

bulletins are over used now.
and to make 50k a month i am sure should have atleast a few million friends.
these days people are commenting with affilate links and works.
am not sure how good the bulletins are any more.

What changes to a link? What kind of link? To Where? From Where? The body of the Bulletin changes to a link?

I'm sure if I had seen this it would make sense. Haven't posted bulletins for a few days.

Ah I see. On your home page, it shows a link with the anchor "View All Bulletin Entries" If you have more than 1,000 friends. Otherwise you see the list of recent bulletins.
