ok well I think I am figuring out how to make the glitter but I cant for the life of me figure out how to animate it in imageready..

for example after I create a 4 layer image in photoshop, i go to file > edit in imageready and it opens up in image ready but the animation never goes to the next layer, it only displays the first layer. anybody know what I need to do?

When your in ImageReady go to Window->Animation.

That will open up a window that will show your current frame. Duplicate the frame a couple times.

Select the first frame and then in the layers window select which layer you want visible. Have a different layer visible for each frame.

Check out this tutorial for some screen shots of what it looks like. I don't have access to my computer that has photoshop at work.

In the Animations window you would select the frame and then in the Layers window you would select which layer you wanted to be viewed.

You can see the screen shots in the tutorial below

I just did'nt get that the little eye ball was the thing that was supposed to be different for each frame :)

funny how the most easiest things can yet be so hard sometimes.

It's good; except the fill just looks like you added noise and changed the settings each time.

You callin my glitters trash LOL jk nah it's a bit difficult but does come out with some nice effects. PSP is a bit easier though.

Just using a noise effect doesn't look very nice (but i must say your first attempt is very good) - it's better if you use glitter fills, convert each frame to a pattern and use the pattern inside the words. You can get fills from everywhere but my favourites are lirae.co.uk and pretty-secrets.net.

Well, if you'll notice.. PSP and PS add noise differently =p PSP is better at adding noise ._. Not to mention using a pattern in PS and using an effect such as aqua over top doesn't work =) I can make glitters as well as grace and kenzie and carlee. I just don't want my glitters looking like everyone elses do.

I made this in PS

And nobody liked it :l I used christinas glitter fills (pretty secrets)

I was trying to get my own style -_-

I got a great one now ;p But ehhh, old news!

Nice =) But you didnt pay close enough attention to the glitter tutorial. Add a DARK outline since the colors light =p It'll make it stick out better THEN make a new layer, mdify expand and the silver =) Youre def on the right track

kasami2k4, do you have a tutorial for glittersnames for psp? I have pspx and i can never get the "bubbly" look for the text. i try the innerbevel thing, but it never looks like everyone elses because theirs are all glossy. do you use psp to make glitter names? if so, can i see some of the ones you made? thanks! =]]
