Howdy,
I've been reading this site all week long and I've decided I'd like to get into this "industry". So I'm looking to purchase an already established myspace resource website. I have a GREAT budget as well. I'm looking for one that does not have a turnkey look and feel to it.
Buying: Established Website
Here's the requirements:
1) Atleast a new template on it. (I'm a look and feel kind of guy. Please PM me the site for sale)
2) Content Mangement System (Backend). I need an easy way to update the site. Please do not PM with a site without a backend.
3) [Optional] Some traffic. This is not a must but I'd prefer if the site had some traffic.
4) [Optional] Content: This will help the deal but not ground breaker.
Please send me PM's in the following format:
Site Url:
Daily UVs:
Unique Template: Yes/No
PageRank:
Reason for selling:
Asking Price:
I might purchase 2 smallers sites or one large one. Please send offers! All sites big and small I'm looking to purchase :)
Buying High Quality: Layouts:
Since I'm buying a new site I'll need a few layout designers as well. Here's what I'm looking for:
1) Quality, Quality, Quality. If your layouts are in the same ballpark of MyspaceStop or FWL, I'll pay TOP dollar for exclusive layouts. $8-$20 per layout. :alucard:
2) Animated layouts - See MySpacestop for what i mean by this.
**All designers for my site will also receive a Monthly Bonus or percent of ownership of the site!** - Yes. Your reading that right. :smartass:
I've got a good budget. I look forward to PM of offers. Please post in here if you make an offer of what you have for sale. Any questions feel free to ask.
Thanks in advance and I'm happy to be here.

I design layouts but is there any way I can get in contact with you since you can't PM? Let me know what method and I'll send you a screen name or such

Cdog,
Sorry no where near 1.5 million! I'm not a company just one guy! I'd start with a clean slate but it seems I can't find any designer who can design a myspace resouce site template. :(

why dont you use one of the many scripts and pay someone to customize it for you, then you can get it the way you like
I got a site you may be interested in with a backend, ranks well on google for some cool terms too, pm if interested,

Marx,
Starting from scratch is an option as well. I'm actual a psuedo php coder so I can take a script and change the functions to my linking. However I'm not even close to a designer! :(
If you know any scripts that I can get someone to customize and make a template for let me know. I'll gladly pay. I'm big on design and want something new. Please feel free to send any contact/links my way.
Regarding your site/sites for sale, drop me more information in a PM. I can't send PM's now but I can read them and reply by EOD (when I hit 25 post.)
Thanks and let me know.

sshjustkissme,
I'm not much of a AIM buff but it seems like I'll have to make a SN for the purpose of this site. :) Can you link me to some graphics you've done? I'm a fan of animated layouts.
Thanks again!

I'd take a look at Greg and Des' MSLS script, you can easily get it customized for a good price and it has a great backend.

Whats your budget for a site so people dont waste thier time and yours ?

I was looking to spend between $1,000-$2,000. But depending on the traffic or site this number could be higher or lower.

FYI: Animated Layouts are annoying. Good luck. :)

LOL. I meant the animation in the extended banner but to each it's own. :)

Honestly, I'd suggest starting from scratch with that budget. Even on the high side of your quote, that only buys a site that makes around $6/day. Buy MSRS, pay someone to make it look unique, spend the rest on advertizing/seo. You'll be making the same $6/day in a month.
chris...
ps. editing to add content. I accidentally left that out. You will need a bunch of "unique-ish" content to keep ppl coming back.

NSMChris,
I can't find anyone who can make design a template for MSRS. Do you know anyone?
Thanks in advance

1K - 2K isnt going to get you to much in the MySpace world.
Better start fresh and pay for a redesign and then add content and promote.

Thanks for the advice PGZ. Just wondering what would get me something decent. I'm not looking to buy traffic. Just need nice layout and I can buy the content. Give me a better clue. :)

You'll do fine with the default layout that comes with MSRS. Spend money on the content first then when money starts coming in, get a custom design.

I agree with miller here.....Start small and build since you only have 2K to work with.
With 2K you can get a good jump starting from scratch.
