So I got a wii last week, waited outside of wal-mart like a tard for the store to open just to get it, and I must say that it is by far the best investment I've ever made on a console.

So far I only own one game, far cry vengeance. I was a huge fan of the original for pc, so I figured it would be just as fun. And it is in my opinion. The graphics are not as pretty as the pc, but the wii was never intended to be the huge graphical orgasm that the xbox 360 or PS3 are.

After I finish far cry, zelda and red steel are on my hit list. After that im not to sure, maybe I'll beat mario 64 again.

So I was wondering how many people have one, and what games do you have and all that jazz.

I so want a Wii. I can't at the moment as I have so many things plugged into my TV and there's nowhere for it to go. Though I'm hoping to buy a VCR, DVD recorder, digibox, hard drive combo thingy soon and get rid of the other clutter.

Babbling over, point is, I want one. :P

My brother has just bought one, but I dunno if it's any good or not as I haven't been round his house to use it...He got it last week but he said he's bringing it to my house next week...So can you add people by thier numbers like XBOX LIVE and chat like on AIM and MSN and that?
Sounds well cool, I have seen the advert, this console is perfect for my bro though as he is visually impaired and it you can play with your body and stuff like I seen on the ad she was shaking the console and the tv mirrors your movements which looks awesome! I can't wait to have a go XD

I dont have a wii but i have an xbox 360 with xbox live.. I love the graphics in that, much better than my old ps2

I have a Wii as well (Des and I stood out front of the store together to get one) and I absolutely love it as well. We have a Wii gaming session at the office about once a night or we have one at my house and the whole family gets involved. We play it before and after dinner. It feels great to get out of the chair to do some gaming. My favorites are on Wii Sports - bowling and tennis.

I bought Zelda but haven't had a chance to play it yet. I have high hopes though as Ocarina of Time is one of my all time favorite games.

My favorite game for the 360 is Geometry Wars (advanced). If you've never played it, avoid it - it's a time sucking devil of a game. Easily the Tetris of this generation.

I have a PS3, but I've never played it. So far it's nothing more than a Blue-Ray player. The only game that interests me is Resistance: Fall of Man and I don't have the extra time to get involved in a game like that atm.

But back to the Wii. Buy one. Stand outside in sub-zero temperatures for 7 hours just to get one if you have to. It's the best thing to hit gaming since, well, gaming.

I love my wii and it's gotten the most time out of me of the systems I have. Although I have yet to put any real time into Zelda, I can tell it's going to be great. Still taking some time getting used to "swinging" the sword though. Sad thing is my girlfriend has played around with the "miis" more than any of the games lol.

Rayman raving rabbids is a pretty fun multi player game with a lot of silly mini games. Wario is as well. You have to be able to accept the cheesiness fully to be able to get into them though ;). Nothing like a grown man pumping a controller like virtual running heheh.

Geometry wars is great and I ended up playing it more than "real" games I bought lol. PS3 has a copy cat game that you can downlaod that looks interesting...can't remember the name right now though.

The only game I have for the PS3, and the only one that interested me from the launch games is Resistance. It's feels like a complete rip of Half Life 2 but that's a good thing and it's a lot of fun though I haven't even tried multi player yet. (Greg/Des...would also take cash value in software in trade if interested lol ;)).


BTW anyone in the market for brand new sealed 20gb PS3? I have one I plan to put up on ebay but would be willing to sell it for "cost" to a MSP member ;). Would share shipping cost so you save taxes and I save ebay fees heheh. (Greg/Des, would also take cash value in software if interested heheh ;))

When I am subscribed to a thread I get instant notification of any replies made to that thread.These emails contain a copy of the reply.
I got an email saying you had replied and what you wrote.
When I came to reply to your post I found you had deleted it.
Judging by the email telling me what you had said in your post (before you deleted it) it came across as you weren't happy so I apologised.I will send you a copy of the email if you like.

lol my lil nephew has a ps 3 and a wii but he calls them both the "PS Wii". I kinda want one myself as I have every other nintendo consol. Has anyone checked out any fighting games for wii??

I watched a few trailers for mortal combat last night. From the looks of it, it could be amazing, or really irritating, just like the other mortal combat games. But i'll check it out.
