Convert your layouts to 2.0 EASILY using:
http://www.iwantlayouts.com/convert-layouts.php

It converts layout to skinny layouts, straight conversions (no changes other than 1.0 -> 2.0) and default layouts.

I've tried it out on several websites,

snazzyspace, hot-lyts, and the usual and it seems to be working. But I'm adding more features, ideas etc to it now.

Feel free to pitch in, then I will release the converter for nothing..

Convert a 1.0 layout to 2.0 NOW!

Also let me know if your layouts don't convert so we can work it out! This is totally free aswell, no link backs, or credits in the code. Just straight conversions :sorcerer:

LOL. I had just finished the regex work for mine. Throws it on my large code scrap heap. Looks good.

Hope people are finding this useful.

If your layout has sloppy coding it may not convert it, most decently coded layouts will work and convert fine.

As for div layouts, they will likely never be able to be converted. They will need to be recoded for 2.0 completely.

Convert them and add them to your site, as long as the layouts you convert are YOURS.

For the default layouts.
When I add it it only adds the background not the css for the headers and stuff.
Is that how it suppose to be?

yes, well if you're converting into a default layout it will convert it into a true default layout, ie background attributes only.

If you're converting a "styled default layout" which technically is now a styled layout you want to do a normal 1.0 to 2.0 conversion.
