New Logo/Mascot

So a while back i posted a thread to see if anyone was looking for any custom hand drawn work. from my brother in-law And no takers. So he did this new Mascot/Logo for my site so i am turning to the pros to let me know if it is HOT or NOT. He did the drawing emailed it to me and i inked it in and colored it so please keep in mind that it was my first time designing anything with photoshop. But i am looking for all the good and the bad. Thank you for your feedback. We are open to making logos of others the price would depend on how intricate someone wanted their logo/mascot to be. If that makes sense. And all work is drawn freehand he does not take someone's image and remake it. Just a few words of security.....lol

I personally don't like the style because it's a little old fashioned compared to the mascots that get used these days. I do like the drawing and the text.
