Whats a good dedicated host

I am looking for a new dedicated server...

What is the BEST dedicated hosting company to hostr about 22k UV daily.

I currently have the following but my images loads really slow.

Intel 3210 Quad Core
Red Hat 4
15TB Bandwidth
2GB RAM
250GB HDD
100Mbps Bandwidth

If I increased anything such ram would it make my images load faster?

my friend use to get 40k+ uvs a day and he was only on yahoos hosting plan. his site never went down or anything. it was fast and everything, but im new to all this.. so yeah. bloop

yahoo hosting would shut you down for too much bandwidth.. i dont host my images with photobucket. I host them on my server. I think they charge something like $10 per month or so.. for unlimited bandwidth but in the terms it stats they will pull the plug for excessive bw.

no, they dont. i host with them. but i think their "cpanel" is a lot more easier then the actual cpanel

To be honest, i'd stick to hostgator.com if you can afford it. There service is ace and rarely ever have problems. :D

Hosting your own images is very very very bad if you get big.. heres why.

Say you get 20,000 UVs per day
15,000 install images from your server per day
each installed image gets 100 views per day

so after day one, your server gets 20,000 + (15,000x100) =1,520,000 views
Day2: you get 3,040,000 views
day 3 you get 4,560,000 views
day 4...
day 5...
every day you add 1.5 million views to your server

As you can see your site grows exponentially.

Servers can only hold so much.. think of your server as a big 'pipe', you can only fit so much into the pipe before it starts to get clogged and take time for things to get through the pipe, which makes your images/website/whatever start to load slow as things get 'queued' up.

Plus bandwidth costs get outragous as you start serving all of these images every day, you use gigs and gigs of bandwith instantly.. hosts will either shut you down or you start paying 5k+/month for the bandwith it takes.
