My host sent me a email saying they will be terminating my account due to the high php process my site runs. They recommened that I switch to a VPS or dedicated. I'm not sure about this since I read that most people dont need to switch til they get to 10k+ Uv's. I'm only getting on AVG 1.5k a day. So I don't know If I should switch to another shared host or upgraded to something else. help please

Myspace resource site? With only 1.5k a day I doubt that you need to go dedicated or make much profit doing so. You can get a decent VPS starting at about $30/mo. depending on your needs.

Thats what I thought since my traffic was so low, but they are kicking me anyway I reckon. What is a good company to get a VPS from?

You might need to optimize your scripts. I got a $40/mo plan from godaddy, which others here probably wouldn't recommend but I haven't had any problems with them. But whatever you do, I'd research the host before choosing and compare prices. Also take note of researching their actual VDS/VPS plans and not their shared hosting reputations cause not many host that grow to become successful maintain a good rep with shared host cause they're all over sold in promising you what they really can't afford to give everybody on the same box. Also be prepared to have to learn some new things because you'll now have to manage, set up, and maintain the server itself to an extent.

Get a new host, 1.5k a day is not hogging resources. You do not need dedicated or Virtual Dedicated with 1.5k a day, will waste your money.

Site Ground tend to cram as many websites as they can on one single server.
So it's probably not even your fault that their server is having problems, they have most likely picked out a few accounts which are using more resources than others and asked them to leave.

Even though you have low traffic etc, I do suggest you get a VPS or VDS. That way, your not sharing alot of resources with hundreds of other accounts. Try vpsland.com or vpslink.com. Some might say they don't have a very good reputation but they are good for small websites.

Or you could try out galaxyvisions.com, I have used them in the past and they are great.

Also, dont make the mistake of thinking that people that get their own server only moved because of their hits. Hits are only a small piece of the puzzle... CPU, RAM/Memory usage and more also affect things ;).
