Love the graphic, but yeah it is kinda depressing.

For breast cancer graphics I think light colors suit them better.

I like your aproach but not the font of the graphic..

and maybe after such a strong line.. provide a line fo hope which intrigues the reader to do something about the threat. :)

Aw thats so sad. the whole dark/lighter animation makes it sort of look like a beating heart, so maybe one for heart cancer would work even better?
