Hi all,

What are some good paying advertising programs to get into for MySpace resource sites?

AdSense used to be quite good, but earnings have slumped majorly. Paying About 4-5 dollars per 1000 unique visitors.

YPN is great, but not reliable for a MySpace resource site as they ban MySpace websites mostly.

Fastclick is too hard to get into unless your site is recieving a tonne of traffic, your server is really speedy and responsive, so it's really only for the big guns. Same goes for Tribal Fusion.

The only good earners that I can get so far is:

AdSense (http://www.google.com/adsense)
Paying 4-5US dollars per 1000 unique visitors.

AdVersal (http://tinyurl.com/2alked)
Popunders which dont intrude your website and add another 8-10US dollars per day on my 2.5K unique visitors website.

Is anyone running azoogle? Is it hard to get into and are there any good offers for myspace users that pay well?

Mind you this is for MySpace sites with 10K and under unique visitors per day.

Omen

I think that adsense continues being the best alternative, the cpm is not very high, but 4-5 dollars for 1000 impressions is not bad. You can combine it with adversal and sell text links and banner spots directly to other myspace sites owners and get a decent income. Good luck

Yeah, might stick to AdVersal (http://tinyurl.com/2alked) because they always pay on time, and the earnings never fluctuate unless my traffic does. Sometimes it even earns more than AdSense for me on a good day.

Adversal was doing ok for me but my site got a pop on every page.I have just written to them for the second time (1st no reply) asking about having code for just 1 pop per visit.

It's probably because you've got the code in the head document on every page. Especially if your site includes the same header on every page.

Try just putting a PHP if statement to see if the location is not the index, then dont display the adversal code.

If you need the PHP code, just let me know.

Thanks for the help omen but they have actually replied this time
They have sent me some script code which will only produce 1 pop every 30 mins per visit.
I will put this in on my footer and see if it works. As it is javascript code will it work if I just call it from the text file or will the script code need to be in the footer?
Thanks
MK

Has anyone succeeded in getting TLA (text-link-ads.com) approved on a MySpace site? And, at least on blogs, I know that AdBrite works great.

Try valueclick You can earn an extra $3CPM easy with them... in addition to adsense.

First off, don't use affiliate URL's. Second off, good luck getting in unless you have a ton of traffic...

Chili, ValeClick is fastclick isn't it? That's almost impossible to get into if you have a tonne of traffic...

Yes Valueclick bought fastclick.... and NO you don't need a ton of traffic.

And don't ever tell me what to do Miller... If I refer someone to VC you're effen eh right I'll use my referral link.

I know using referrals isn't allowed in posts, but I think this case is fine. I have used it in a scenario exactly like this on this forum.

It isn't like it's being spammed, he is refering someone to the network, so you should be able to use the refer link, that's the whole point. It's on topic and a good recommendation.

I second it, I use Valueclick and with ad filtering and pop-unders, I almost equal my adsense income.

If affiliate links are allowed and you use your affiliate link in your post it is normal to put your affiliate link and point it out as such, and a normal link to give the reader the choice of what to click.
Just a heads up. :)

Ha, if people would wish to chose the non-affiliate link even though the affiliate link would lose them nothing, despite someone giving their time to help, then I'd rather not give the time to help in the first place!

I'm not pointing out the rights or wrongs of it.It's just the normal thing to do.

Have you applied before? Denied? Did you send them an email asking why?

Calm down there kid, affiliate links on posts are against the rules. I was busted for it a while back so it's my turn to bust. They are allowed in your sig so next time say see my sig... Simple as that.

Agreed. Some people just love to "help" and use any excuse to spam their affiliate links in posts.
Put it in your sig.

Ha, this has gotten quite pedantic, what's the difference between telling someone to click the link in your signature as opposed the the one 2cm above it in your reply?

I didn't make the rules, I just follow them :)
