what the hell...
myspace is getting too aggravating to even bother with anymore...
i hardly even log on anymore, like not even for my personal myspace because nothing of interest ever pops up anymore..
i can't remember the last time i commented one of my friends. and i don't even wanna open bulletins anymore, because who knows what'll happen when i do.

maybe its time we move on to the next big thing...now to just find that next big thing.

I have a profile for my site. I take care of that profile like if it were made of gold. I read every comment, replied to every message and tried to keep things nice.

Since a couple of days ago every time I open it I find at least 50 comments waiting to be approved, and 99% of them are spam that says in big letters "this is so funny" or some crap pointing to a traker.

Horrible... if they don't do something soon there will be another network that will jump in and take all the users from them. I don't see how anyone can continue using myspace anymore.

Ok, that was meant to be an edit not delete, but I was too trigger happy. What I said above was this is a screen shot of a profile's inbox I made to test layouts, it has no friends or photo, yet I still manage to get 5 per day junk mail sometimes:

Granted MySpace has removed the users spamming, but it's a sad state of affairs to open an inbox and see that. No real mail, all spam. On my real accounts for my site too, all I see are bulletins for ringtones and ps3s and so on as everyone's account has been phished. If I see that fooking sun telling me about a profile spy one more time in my comments I'll go crazy.

Phishing must be one of the biggest problems right now. And those stupid comments from Tom trying to tell people how not to fall for them are just useless.

I used to get those "profile doesn't exist" a lot, now I haven't seen them for a while.

Seriously, half my friends i have to explain it to them what phishing is because none of them pay attention to it...
ugh. i seriously wish tagworld would take off of the ground and sweep myspace off their feet. or even myyearbook or something.

MySpace is CRAP!
Lol...I don't like it at all anymore, there are SO many social networks out there that really are ten times better than MySpace and always will be...
I will bet good money, MySpace wont be like google and be undefeatable..One day PRETTY SOON a bigger, better, more fun and secure site will take it off the top spot...

Hmmmm....I get your point...The bigger the community, the bigger the problems that come with it..etc!
But, I think a lot of the problems with MySpace is the use of HTML and linking in comments....I know of at least one social network that only allow HTML of people there team MANUALLY APPROVE beforehand...that is the way to go and the future of this site that I believe WILL take over MySpace!
So, no links, no comment bombers as theres no point as no HTML is supported no link backs everywhere...Just good clean plain text and images and strict restrictions on Customization, yet no reduction in fun!
The reason MySpace is the way it is, is because of there OWN STUPIDITY just allowing HTML everywhere and complete control....They can only fix this now if they DEACTIVATE HTML all together and then regain control on customization..But they cannot do that now..As too many angry members would complain! :P

IF they got rid of half the html thats allowed, that would screw all the myspace resource site owners over, and then would make half the graphics and such useless to anyone.
Also, it'll discourage people from making myspace resource sites, and the point of myspace to "make it your space" would be over.

I know if they did that, i'd quit and never look back. That'd be the end of it and i wouldn't even try to get around it.
